I love this slackline! It has performed very well for the past 8 months and not a single problem has occurred. If you want something to try out before you start using highline webbing or you're just getting into the activity, this is an excellent choice. A few of my friends have already picked one up as well after playing around on mine. Very satisfied.

Of course you know that the longer the line you wan to walk, the more force you'll have to apply to tension it. This especially true if you don't want to have the ends several feet above the ground b/c of sag. I had my ends about 4' above the ground. After about 2 weeks of use, the ratchet handle broke- the metal itself sheered. I was tensioning it by hand, not using any lever or mechanical assist.Also, the ratchet does not allow for taking up quite enough slack. With a long line like this, you have to ratchet a decent amount to get proper tension, which means that a decent amount of line gets wound up in the ratchet. Once there is too much wound up in side the ratchet, it interferes with more ratcheting to get the needed tension.Overall, the line itself is fine. For the price, it's an ok long line. But after a few uses, I'll now have to source a different ratchet, one better built for the forces applied.

Even if I owned an industrial sewing machine, I don’t think I could make one of these for less. It’s a great value and a fun hobby.

The high-line set-up shown in the product pictures is NOT SAFE.I did not purchase this product, however the image in this post that shows a slackline wrapped around a rock and extending out over a large drop off is not a safe system. DO NOT attempt to rig a high-line without supervision of an experienced rigger.
