Turtle Wax T-520A Bug and Tar Remover, Trigger - 16 Fl Oz.

I have a new 2010 Diamond White Yukon Denali. I went on a month long driving vacation up into Canada and down to Yellowstone, South Dakota, Durango, etc. Coming down from Yellowstone to Jackson Hole, there was a lot of road construction and we were constantly being diverted. I get out of my car at the hotel and find it is covered front to rear with a thick coat of road oil. What the heck, will just run it through the car wash.....Soap, car wash, etc., didn't phase it. Acted like it was baked on. I'm thinking .. new paint job for a brand new car?, have to get it stripped and buffed out? Went to an auto parts and they had some TWax Bug and Tar remover. I figured I had nothing to lose. Wow, what a nice surprise. Spray it on, wait a minute, wiped that road oil right off. Took me a bottle and a half to get all that oil off but went quickly and left a nice shine. Miracle stuff as far as I'm concerned. Also takes the bugs off very nicely. I still use it because I'm still finding little nooks and crannies on the car where that road oil is still lurking. Just got back from another driving vacation and used it extensively to keep the splattered bug bodies under control. This is one product I can recommend without reservation. I take a bottle with me when I go on vacation now.

Its basically window cleaner, which is funny because I read an article that said just use window cleaner, lol. Still, thought id give this a shot. The performance was alright, but mean green diluted in water worked way better. I liv in the south. Lots of bugs! For real caked on bugs, I found this mostly ineffective. Update: It works really well, but it cant be sprayed on wet surface. Initially, I had sprayed this after rinsing my car, which I normally do before washing. The water must have made it ineffective, but on a dry surface and let it sit a moment. The results were super clean and clear windows front portion of mg car.

I rate this item four (4) stars only because I am comparing it to ''einszett Anti-Insekt Bug and Tar Remover''. The einszett product works so wonderful. But it is slightly out of my budget so I switched to this Turtle Wax item. This Turtle Wax brand item works just as well but you will be required to apply a lot more elbow grease than by using the einszett item. One trick I recently learned was to dump about one ounce (1 oz) into your car wash bucket for a much cleaner car wash! You should expect to pay no more than $4.50 for this item. Enjoy.

Our new home has a great driveway but had no idea it would mean maple syrup on my car. This stuff works great on paint (not so much on the windshield for some reason) and is very easy to use; since its thick when you spray, it stays on for the minute you need for it to soak before you wipe with a microfiber rag. Worked well even on dried sap.

I bought this because I have a problem with sap getting on my car. I tried numerous products before this but none of them worked. On a whim I decided to try this and it worked great. Not only did it clean the sap but left a beautiful shine I've also used it for bug and bird droppings with great success . It's a nice product that I would highly recommend.

I tried the other brands, but this one tops them all.

Bought product and followed directions before use. Product did not seem to work, did not remove any bug stains. I do not recommend this product!!

This product worked well on getting sap off one car but seemed to take the paint off another car. And I worked very gently rubbing it.

Highly recommend very nice and effective Product, specifically for Tar remover.
