Would this work for the zvx8 or the 800 better?

Well im running, my amp on a evl12.2 and my sub sometimes feels like it can take more. I'm going to buy a rp1500.1d to push my 12 to see what happens so we will see. These skar subs are tough. It can probably handle it but just not at full throttle all the time.

Woild the rp1200 stand a .5 ohm load? 2 sdr 12d2 wired to .5?

Not sure I would try that, it's 1 ohm stable. I purchase dual 4 ohm coils two wire down to a stable 1 ohm load

Will this amp work on a 4 ohmms 300rms watt speaker?

You might want to go with the 800 or even smaller for 300 rms , the skar put up more then what they say they do , look them up on YouTube put the amp you looking at and at the end put dyno
