Used them to create a lovely gift for a friend.

I bought three colours of these studs and I will copy & paste to review all three...I wanted some small spikes/studs for my charity shop leather jacket that I use as a motorcycling jacket as I modified it to accept armor pads for the back, elbows, and chest. the spikes would go on the collar as well as the shoulders.They are OK to install, maybe a little difficult if your leather is thick. Unlike how the descriptions says, these are NOT rivet studs. They use screws. The studs require you push a hole through your leather/material so that you may screw a small philips head screw through the leather and into the stud itself which is threaded. I recommend using a tiny amount of thread-locker as I found they came loose and did not tighten to a snap like bolts/screws should. I think the maximum depth would be around 5mm or the screw wont go all the way through even if the leather is squished. I used a sharp pair of needle-point tweezers to pierce the leather so the diameter was perfect for the screw. This was a bit tedious but I didn't think of a better method.The final product looked just how I wanted, a bit of sublte flare to go with the leather jacket to look a bit more 'metal' and riding style. I own a sports bike but I think they'd work better looking on a bobber/mod. Though, it's in the eye of the beholder and I think it works with my Yamaha YZF :)In summary, this is a cheap way to DIY your own studs and spikes onto your clothes. Leather is likely to be the most popular material to modify with these spikes but I do not see a reason why other materials couldn't be used.

Order 1 bag initially, worked perfectly so ordered another 3, but these 3 all have longer screws than the last bag, so all the new ones are really loose on the fabric, such a shame since the first bag looked so good and now I’ve wasted money on another 3 that don’t fit😤

The thread on half of them is not great , also a few turned up without the screw altogether making them useless

Basically what it says they are, only thing i would say abt them is that they're probably better for thick fabrics cos theres abt 2-3mm gap left between the screw and the spike when they're fully screwed in, otherwise fine tho.

Are use them to give my belts and braces a new lease of life

I bought 1 hundred of these but had to buy another hundred as I underestimated how many I would need.They're easy to apply by poking a hole, I used a small screwdriver, pushing the back through, I then added a drop of glue before screwing the spike on.The screw is a bit longer than I expected so went through some areas of thicker fabric.
