Prinzipiell gibt es gegen das Gerät nicht viel Negatives zu sagen: Der Sound ist Klasse, die Bedienung einfach und da es einige Soundvarianten gibt, kommt man mit nur einem Gerät sehr weit, ohne weitere Geräte kaufen zu müssen (Chorus, Delay).Der Halleffekt klingt sehr natürlich und macht absolut Spaß."Shimmer" klingt lustig, ist aber mehr für die Spielereien im Wohnzimmer gedacht. In der Band würde ich auf den Effekt eher verzichten.Warum nur 1 Stern: Leider funktioniert das Gerät nicht zuverlässig. Nach ca. einer halben Stunde Einsatz stottert zuerst der Sound, dann fällt er ganz aus: Stille!Dass man sowas auf der Bühne nicht brauchen kann ist klar; da ist Zuverlässigkeit ein absolutes Muss.Ich tauschte alle Kabel, Netzgeräte etc.: Der Fehler lag eindeutig am Joyo. Inzwischen spiele ich ein TC HOF und hatte noch nicht einen Aussetzer.Die Rücksendung und Gelderstattung war trotz USA-Import kein Problem.

My H&K TubeMeister doesn't have a built-in reverb, so I decided to try a pedal option. I haven't been disappointed! An important thing to bear in mind is that a reverb (like all modulation effects, i.e., phase, flange, delay, etc.) should be plugged into the Effects Loop on the back of an amp, not run in line from the guitar to the front Input jack. This way, the reverb is being applied AFTER any other effects, so isn't sending a mixed / garbled signal to the amp. This is usually why extra white or pink noise is added, and using the Effects Loop is how to avoid it. Great pedal for the dough, and some of the weirder modes are fun to play with.

This pedal is a very good value. Joyo is a more budget brand, but this R series is of much higher quality. This pedal does classic reverb effects good, and also as some really nice weird ones. Its a good creative tool My initial pedal stopped working after a few months and joyo told me to buy another and they would refund it. Dealing with joyo support was surprisingly good. Give this pedal a shot! It beats out any I've come across in its price bracket and goes head to head with more expensive ones.

It's hard to get a bad sound out of this, and the range of reverb options is actually impressive, the controls let you really fiddle with it on a granular level, and it'll do any job you need it to in terms of reverb. The casing is solid, the design is beautiful, and it's quite affordable for a multi-reverb pedal.

The shimmer effect everyone is chasing is ok, but the echo has a very noticeable background sound that's picking up on my tracks, while recording. Save your money and get the Oceans 11 peddle....
