Brilliant harness but buy 3x larger than needed
This comes up incredibly small, example I've order XL for my SMALL dog however the harness itself is brilliant. It fits her peculiar shaped mongrel body lovely. Colours beautiful. It's very lightweight qnd dries super quick qnd washes well. Fastens securely. Would buy again.

Nice fit and soft material.
A lovely little harness for my Shih Tzu Dog, Fitted reasonably well. Nice and soft and it feels like it’s going to be safe for him and not come off. I have a similar one in prior use and it had better clips for when you attach the lead, but it’s different and i guess ok.

Very well made
Nicely made and very soft harness for my coton du tulear x dog. Like a lot of little dogs like 5is, she had been suffering with collapsed trachea problems, not helped by pulling on the lead, with her collar digging into her neck. I purchased a fairly stiff plain harness from a well-known High St pet shop but although it worked really well to completely stop the trachea issues, we sensed she did not find it very comfortable when walking and running, esp around the legs. I decided to purchase this very soft one (I chose large, even though she is a fairly small dog, she has quite a deep chest). We are so pleased with it - it fits very well, although a bit loose, we found you can tighten it a little at the top with the added Velcro fastening. She finds it very comfortable even on long walks and now the evenings have drawn in, the reflector bits are v useful. There is also a name tag holder and we’ve attached one of those flashing light things on that as well, as it hangs underneath. I don’t really understand the reviewers who say their dogs can wriggle out of it - I can’t see how my dog could do this at all - and it has certainly stayed very secure when she’s had it on. 100% recommend if you have a dog who is more elderly or with sensitive skin.

Perfect for my tiny Yorkie puppy!
At 6 months old and after a recent few hundred grams growth spurt, my tiny Yorkie puppy is finally big enough to wear a real dog harness without the need for ribbons everywhere to pull everything in closer! Her chest is currently 27cm and her neck 18cm, so she's super tiny even though she's almost 2kg now (no idea where she's keeping it all!), and this 3XS harness fits almost perfectly. There isn't too much room for adjustment though, so if she grows another couple of cm on the chest then I will need to go up a size. I don't mind, I definitely think it's worth the money, but it's worth keeping in mind that most dogs don't grow as slowly as she has so the few cm window of "adjustment" here per size may only give you a month of use before you need to size up. I love how reflective this harness is, she's definitely not going to get lost in the dark garden at night when wearing it, but it doesn't look daft as the many strips are just a lighter grey than the harness so it blends in nicely. I don't think the more vibrant colours look as good though. The shape is very different from the other step in velcro harnesses available, but it makes a lot of sense to have the chest end wider than the neck end as dog chests are usually wider! The front covers most of the ribs, and then sharply angles up towards the shoulders as it passes under the front legs. It's a very ergonomic shape, tapering in where the dog is smaller. I much prefer this to the over the head kind with various adjustable straps to mess around with once it's already on. Just step in, pull up, fasten, and you're away! The extra security from the locking buckle is reassuring, as well as the two rings for attaching a lead, which sit on either side as they should, unlike some harnesses that have two rings just to say they're there. They are just slightly too far apart for my liking, and that makes clipping the lead on a little difficult, but it's a minor niggle. I'm also unsure what the point of the upside down ring on the chest is, perhaps for a double lead? I would like to see a smaller ring near the front of the neck for an ID tag. I don't like to use collars with my dogs as they're a breed prone to tracheal collapse, but it is against the law to walk a dog in public without an ID tag. I suppose you could use the chest ring for this, but it would hang at an awkward angle. Oh, and the size label is stitched in upside down, which is quite confusing!

These are pretty good although the Velcro wears out but reasonably priced. Only issue is purchased another one and they sent a lead in errror

Perfect design for our fluffy puppy
This soft harness is perfect as our puppy as she is a cavapoo with a wool coat and is super fluffy. We bought a different adjustable harness with straps for her but the distance between where her skin and her fluffy coat meant we had to adjust it tightly to get purchase on her wriggly body and she was uncomfortable. However this design has been perfect for her. As the harness has a greater surface area it seems to hold her with her fluffy coat in place more easily. When she was tiny I just did the velcro up a bit tighter and as she has grown have loosened it a bit so whilst its not classically adjustable it is possible to change the fit. It's also really lightweight and doesn't go over her head so is easy to put on too. We live in the city so being reflective is also important when she's walking on dark pavements along with the matching lead. So all in all it's really good value and been perfect for her first harness. She's been wearing it for two months now and have no complaints! UPDATE: Our puppy has been wearing this harness for four months, still really pleased with it - so much so we've bought a bigger one for her now she's growing up!
