G Fuel Hydration Dragon Fruit Punch Tub (30 Servings) Elite Hydration Powder 3.5oz

This is the worst dietary supplement I have ever tasted. It has a horrible aftertaste that I can only describe as medicinal. I’ve tried other gfuel flavours and they were actually drinkable but this one is just awful.

For starters, the paper seal inside the lid wasn't even on when I opened it, powder everywhere and I have to wonder if that affected quality at all. Second, the scoop is misleading but as I've learned from other Gfuel products, the top part is not meant to be filled at all, but even without that and only filling the serving portion of the scoop, it is way too overpowering in 16 and even 20 ounces of water. I diluted down to half a scoop in 20 ounces. Then there's the taste. I've had native dragon fruit, and it's okay, and tons of dragon fruit flavored things that taste great. This is not. This tastes very medicinal but if it's diluted enough you can drown out the medicine taste for a light fruit-ish taste. As I write this review, I'm sitting on the toilet having a not great time about 1-2 hours after drinking a serving of this, with no other alterations to my generally healthy diet, making this the most likely culprit. I have no issue with normal gfuel affecting my stomach but everything about this is just wrong. This isn't the product for you. Gatorade or propel packets will work just fine and are cheaper.

Flavor is good. You can definitely dilute it more than the recommended serving. I’ve gone up to half a gallon of water per scoop while I’m at work. I do notice a difference in focus but mostly just like it for flavor to my water without caffeine. I think it’s a good price for the amount of product you get.

People weren't kidding when they said this flavor needs to be diluted! I read in the reviews that people were mixing it in 30oz and 32oz of water and I thought they were crazy. I'm used to mixing my GFUEL with like 8-12oz of water. So when I received this tub of GFUEL today I did a taste test immediately! It tastes like fruit punch Kool-Aid when you put 10 spoons of powder and 1 small cup of water lol. I first mixed it with 12oz of water and it was too potent. So I mixed in 4 more ounces of water and it came out perfect with 16oz of water. The flavor is really sweet, so if you like sweet flavors, this is the one to go with. I'm quite the GFUEL connoisseur, having tried rainbow sherbet, blue ice, fazeberry, lemonade, pink lemonade, orange, blood orange, grape, tropical rain, ragin gummy fish, strawberry shortcake, hype sauce, snow cone, watermelon and much more. :)

I typically drink ice water but my sister in law was using Liquid IV.I wanted a zero calorie option so I wanted to Try this. It mixes well with just a spoon or shaking.The taste is sweet, just like Smarties or other tart flavored candy.I don’t feel bloated, gassy, or nauseated after drinking it.One of the concerns I had was with the California warning on lead exposure from ingesting this.However overall the taste was very good.
