works well for the price. It could be a little longer, but it says in the add just how long it is. It folds up really small so it fits in the bag easily. It is worth the price.

Sometimes chicken eggs are laid just out of reach. This is a good solution for that.

My wife uses this to collect hard to reach eggs in the chicken coop. She said it works great.

I wasn't expecting greatness for the price, but it is a little flimsier than I was expecting. The farther out it extend, the harder it is to use. Just the weight of the golf ball made it bend like a fishing rod when fully extended. It's not great, but it'll do for now.

This is my 3rd golf ball retriever. It is my favorite retriever to use during practice and cost much less than my previous retrievers. I hit a lot of golf balls out in my backyard and needed something like this to save me from having to bend over so often to pick up my balls. At first I wasn't sure if the Samyo was right for me, but after using it a few times I got the hang of it. Picking up each ball and putting in my bag is a one hand operation every time. I never need to use 2 hands to use this. Just place the scoop on the ball, pick it up, place it in my bag, give it a slight turn and the ball drops in the bag. It is not as sturdy as my more expensive one, so I won't take it to the course with me, but it's perfect for practice hitting.

Saves a lot of balls from water hazards and from bushes where there might be snakes. But the little device on top that is supposed to keep a ball in the bucket does not really work. I like that if fits nicely in my bag and does not take up too much room.

Was looking for something small that would fit into a bag pocket instead of the longer ones that must be carried in the bag with the clubs. This collapses nicely, yet extends to 6' (plus my arm reach) to really handle any retrieval I'd normally need.One does have to be careful not to bend it as you're extending/retracting it.

I have now bought two of these items in the past six months or so, both have snapped apart and become unusable. In one case,mi was fishing a ball out of a pond and the pole came apart with the front section falling in the pond. In the second case, dropped it horizontally on the ground from thigh height and, again, the sections came apart and cou,d not be fixed.These are among the least durable items I have ever bought.

The idea of this is great, it takes up very little room in your bag, it's inexpensive but the execution of the idea is very poor. The materials used are bad, this thing bends so much when it's extended it makes it useless. Mine lasted for about 10 uses over this golf season. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.

I use this in my traveling golf bag. It packs up so small it fits into my side drink holder pocket! Worked great once I figured out that you need to cover the ball and simply pick it up vs. scooping it. It has a tooth that secures the ball once you place the sphere over it...then just pick it straight up! If you are needing a very long or deep reach then this likely will not be the tool for you but if need one that is lightweight, functional and easily to store then this is a great buy.
