If you have a vim4 and want to add additional storage using an m.2 ssd, buy this. Without this device, plugging an m.2 drive into the vim4 is odd and makes for a clunky install. Yes, it also works with the vim4 active cooling kit.

Main board is defective be careful with khadas as they are expensive with very little service.

The documentation on KHADAS website is outdate with many broken links. Fix the documentation please! With some digging I was able to find the steps needed to configure the NVME, but the board would not boot reliably. Khadas need to rethink the location of the buttons and how they work. putting the board into update mode is very difficult and unreliable. I really liked the form factor of this board. But ultimately regret investing into Khadas products.

This is what I had been waiting for from them. It's just the M.2 holder and cell modem slots, works great. Best value for the VIM 3L. The only issue is you can't use the case and heat plate anymore after install this card so hope they come up with a solution for that.
