I got three of these on sale (two were gifts for a 4 and 8 year old, they loved them and their parents did too) and the other was for our household. The drums sound good and are very well made for the price I paid which was around $36 each on sale at the time. Totally worth it for that price. Very soothing, tuned great for a steel drum this small and fun to play. The case and extras included are also a bonus!

He absolutely loves it! And he can play it as loudly as he wants because the sounds are melodious.Great present for a little one.

The media could not be loaded. The higher notes aren’t as loud as the lower notes, but it’s not bad. It’s super easy to learn. The numbers as a little confusing but probably only because idk any music theory. Even then it’s still easy to figure out. You can learn any song by ear. Sounds very professional. Safe for kids. I let them play on my drum regularly and I don’t have to worry about anything breaking. The drum has beautiful glimmer/sparkles to it.

As a person that has three kids, I enjoy the sound of this drum—even if they are just randomly banging on it, which happens a lot because the music book was all songs we have never heard of before so it’s hard to know if we are playing it right.The stickers fell off easily, so I tried to write it on with a sharpie, that seems to work fine.If you are musically inclined and can learn through ear, I’m sure you will enjoy the sound and amount of notes for the size.If you’re shopping for a child, I’d go a different route.

Love the quality of the drum, case, and bonus case for the drum sticks. It is well packaged and a perfect gift for 12 year old granddaughter, I'm sure she will love, because I played with it briefly and enjoyed it. The sou is are soothing and calming even just randomly beating on it.
