1800mAh 3.7V LIP1708 Replacement Battery For Sony PlayStation 5 PS5 DualSense CFI-ZCT1W Wireless Controller

This replacement battery, was easily installed and charged very quickly. So far, while I am playing my games, it retains its power for up to 6 to 8 hours of gaming. This is a better solution than purchasing Sony's pricey replacement. My second control, which still has the Sony battery in it, is now draining quickly and I will replace that with this battery as well.

Anyone buying, be careful; it seems this product is hit or miss depending on the battery you get. Unfortunately, my mind was a miss. Hopefully, if you try your luck here, yours won’t be.I have had a terrible experience with this product. I got it, giddy with anticipation to have a working controller again. I installed the battery and ran into the expected downside; the battery is wider, so the port doesn’t match the hole in the controller. I figured out that pushing down the touchpad with force would allow me to align the charging cable and the port. Success it was charging; I set my USB sleep setting never to sleep so the battery would charge till full. Fast forward 24 hours, and I was so pumped to play PS5! I pulled out the charger, turned on my system, and within 25 minutes, my controller was dead. I plugged it in and left it to charge. When I returned this time, I only got 10 minutes of play, and now my controller displayed a not charging symbol when I plugged it in. Now, I can’t even get a minute or 2. I have to have the controller constantly plugged in, and it will say that it’s fully charged, but as soon as I unplug it, it will immediately say it has no battery on my system.

Carefully replaced a ps5 co troller battery with this. It is nice. I was worried about shorts or overfill/overvolt but it has been seamless and lasts hours. Very pleased.

The fit is weird but is works great

SO bought this Battery roughly a year ago, in fact i bought two, Decided to buy two cause i had two PS5 controller and the battery form PS were starting to die so i said screw it let get replacement battery and not spend 40 to 80 dollar on a new controller.So after a year one of the battery is still running strong and has no issue what so ever, but the other has started to swell and pushes on the inside of my controller making it impossible to press buttons. Which i have no idea why.

At first I was concerned with the obvious size difference of the batteries because I thought it would be just loosely bouncing around inside. After I put it back together, I shook the controller and not a single sound came from it. I believe the rubber pad on the backplate keeps it secured in place. Its been a month of usage and man the difference is day and night. Prior to the change my 6 month old controller would only last 3 hours on idle. Now with the new battery it takes about 10 hours of usage. For the price of the battery it’s definitely a better deal than throwing 70 buckaroos at a new controller.

Battery showed up swollen and dead. Looked like a returned item since the box was open. Not the same dimensions as PS5 controller battery either. Seems to thick but since this one was busted I will never know. Battery also had some burn marks on it so my guess is it was mixed up with the new ones.

As you can see in the photo the port has moved up a little. When I noticed this I tried it on another controller but the port was still moved up. The weird thing is that I tried the stock battery (Battery that came with controller) and the port was perfect. I don't know what is worng. I can still turn on the battery it's just that the port is a little bit off. It may be because of the size of the battery or the thickness or it was broken. I was really disappointed but I will get a different one and hopefully it will work.
