Great birthday present for my son! My son is a rancher. He does most of his owner mechanicing, and often has to use lights to work in the shop at night. He buys many Dewalt products. This was a perfect choice, as he has multiple vehicles that he needs to carry tools in. The latched seem strong, but are easy to open (I like that - nothing like a strong latch that you have to fight to open)! It has great storage capacity! It is very versatile! This would work for files, crafts- anything that you need to lug around! He has also put toolboxes in his daughters’ vehicles. They have been taught some mechanics in case they breakdown over the long stretches of roads they drive. He plans to purchase at least 2 more for their vehicles. The fantastic part is that this box has an expandable handle, wheels and is very sturdy! He can put a good amount of tools in the box. ADDITIONALLY, you can buy another, stackable, box that will fit on top of this one. Expandability is always a plus! The wheels and handle really helps in getting the box out of a vehicle and moving it to where you need it! I purchased this is sale, but even at full price I think it’s a good value for the money! I love it!

I own six smaller ones and thought it was time to stop stacking and carrying them so I bought the one with wheels to make my life easier. Each one stacked on the wheeled unit and fit like a glove. Very strong and durable.

Great quality toolbox. I got an awesome deal on Prime Day too. You can fit a lot of stuff in the box, but I only put a few things in there and the box bends a little from a little bit of weight. The removable top tray should have a way to secure it better. It still goes on even with the slight bends, but I can see it falling down into the bigger box when it's moved around a little too much. We'll see what happens and if I'll actually use that part. I wanted this box to easily move tools to and from my truck. And that's the other issue. There is no way to take the handle off unless I broke it or cut it off. So, in order for me to put my tonneau cover down to lock it, I have to tip the box on its back. I really wish I could help design a lot of products. It seems like there are so many very simple changes they can make that would make products much better than the competitions that they don't think about. I would give this box a 4.5 out of 5 due to these reasons. Unfortunately, you can't choose that

I love this product as it allows me to put all of my battery operated Dewalt tools in one place. Very sturdy and well made is comes with keys to lock it. . The handle works great and saves your back from having to carry such as big tool box. I’ve already added on to mine with another chest for my smaller tools. They easily lock together. They have many other tool box accessories that you can add and they all lock together. A nice investment.

So I'm a mobile nail technician and I've ran through a few "beauty" cases that didn't hold up with the constant up and down. I then decided to purchase this toolbox instead as I needed something more heavy duty. I've been using this for the past few months and the quality is top tier! Its very spacious - holds all of my necessary equipment and products. This is definitely a great quality tool case that is suitable for constant moving around.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It started with one box… now we have a full DEWALT tool empire 😂 What began as “let me get one decent toolbox” has officially turned into a full-blown DEWALT stacking system… and honestly, I regret nothing. This rolling TSTAK box is the foundation of the empire — the mobile command center. I took this setup over to my mother-in-law’s house for a DIY remodel, and now I'm rolling tools from room to room like I'm managing a construction site. Drills? Check. Sanders? Check. Random screws that somehow multiply overnight? Also check. Everything fits, everything stacks, and everything moves together like a well-organized army of tools. The wheels are smooth, the handle extends easily, and it’s sturdy enough to handle real work — not just “weekend hobby” stuff. And once you start stacking other TSTAK boxes on top? That’s it. You’re committed. You’ve entered the DEWALT ecosystem, and there is no turning back. It’s basically adult LEGO… but louder and with more sawdust. Now every time I open the garage, I don’t see clutter — I see a system. A rolling, stackable, slightly intimidating system. And somehow… my mother-in-law might be running it better than I am. Highly recommend if you’re ready to stop being “someone with tools” and start being “someone with a tool empire.” 😄🔧🏗️

Mango largo: la caja se abre en 2 partes, la parte de abajo apenas es suficiente para un taladro y una caladora, la herramienta de mano cabe sin problema y en la parte de arriba tiene separaciones de buen tamaño, caben brocas, puntas, tornillos, etc. El mango largo esta muy practico y se puede cargar horizontal o vertical. 2. Caja profunda: en mi caso compre 2, estan de muy buena altura, caben 4 taladros inalambricos, 1 laser con todo y estuche, cargador y 4 baterias, si le quitas la charola te caben sin problema 6 a 8 herramientas inalambricas, el problema que encontre es que las pestañas de abajo donde esta el Tstak entran super forzadas, es decir encima le puedes poner otra caja sin problema, pero abajo le vas a batallar, en mi caso con un soplete tuve que bajar esas pestañas 3. Caja profunda con ruedas: es mas ancha, mas larga y mas profunda que la caja profunda, le cabe una caladora, una sierra, extension de 15 metros y muchas mas cosas, el tamaño es mas grande de lo que imaginaba pero esta super comodo y nada estorboso, las llantas son plasticas y es rigida al caminar pero pues es herramienta de trabajo no de paseo… el mango es de aluminio y me soporta sin problema 40 kilos de herramienta, se ve que es duradero. En general hasta el momento tengo un par de semanas y es super comodo el sistema Tstak, que apilas y evitas estar dando vueltas cargando cajas y cajas de herramienta.

I purchased an entire set of Dewalt stackable tool boxes, including this deep box on wheels (17820), as well as the TSTAK deep tool box (17806) and the tool organizer expansion box (17805). All three are exceptionally sturdy and well-made. I purchased all three to hold all the tools that were scattered in different areas and mis-matched containers and the space afforded by this brand is more than adequate. I also chose this set to transport more easily as one unit. And, finally, I chose DeWalt because of their excellent quality and built-in longevity. Previous DeWalt products I had purchased actually lasted decades. The only weak area was the lid locking mechanism, and it appears Dewalt has fixed this by switching out the plastic latches for heavy-duty metal ones on all their units Their stacking feature is well designed by being precisely molded so as to fit together seamlessly for transport, and will never budge due to their additional side latches. And transport is easy with the extra-large wheels that can take the weight. Having these three tool boxes to organize “stuff” saves time, which is every bit as valuable as space and energy. When I think of all the time and energy it took to find the proper tool, the right accessory and the exact size fasteners, and without my workshop any longer, it makes this set even more valuable and smart to buy. And, when the price was substantially reduced on all three, simultaneously, this decision was even easier. They were all shipped and delivered on the exact day and time Amazon specified; and all three were boxed well and arrived in perfect condition. On this model #17820, the telescopic handle is not only robust enough to securely transport numerous boxes, it collapses so as to take up less space in storage, as well. I’ve only one minor disappointment, though. The removable tray does not extend the full width of the tool box. There’s undoubtedly a good reason for this design, but personally, I wish it was full width. No matter; aside from this dislike, I’m very happy with all three tool boxes and I’ve no regrets purchasing them, whatsoever. I’d recommend this one, and in fact, all three, to anyone, for either work or personal use.

Recibí la caja con ruedas dañada, solicité el cambio y la segunda también llegó dañada, la tercera llegó bien. Parecieran ser clones, ninguna de las cajas tiene el relieve de la marca en las agarraderas, la caja negra pequeña tiene un sticker de la marca en donde debería tener relieve del logo. Comparando objetivamente la calidad y el precio de un set de 3 piezas (caja con ruedas, caja pequeña para herramientas y caja para tornillos) Tstak (4.2K) con otras marcas como Milwaukee (5k) o hasta el nuevo set de Husky (4.5K) sin lugar a dudas las otras marcas son superiores al doble. Las otras marcas tienen ruedas de goma, jaladeras removibles, y sistemas de acoplamiento mejores que la Tstak. La única situación sensata para comprar estas cajas sería que estén en descuento y afortunadamente así fue, conseguí el set de 3 piezas pero con gavetas dobles en lugar de solo la caja para tornillos a mitad de precio, excelente, dicho lo anterior, las cajas son pequeñas el diseño es bonito, no tienen gomas para que al cerrar eviten la entrada de agua pero puedes comprarlas por poco y adaptarlas. En general es un buen set si lo consigues al precio justo. Muy satisfecho.
