FarnamFlea Halt! Water-Based Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs Plus Citronella Scent, 40 fl oz

Flea and tick control. Pleasant citronella smell. Easy to apply. Label states it can be used on dog, yet I am not comfortable spraying my dog with this as the warnings and stated uses seem contradictory. With that being said, I use this in my dog's enclosed run and back yard as instructions state and it works very well.

Works quick and last for a long time

I've used this product for about 4 years. It's more of a temporary product, as it lasts for about 3 days, but it works great. I have a German Shepherd dog, and his ears stand straight up. The flies love to eat the ends of his ears. This spray fixes that problem, and gives him relief. It also does not smell bad, like other sprays I've tried. The neighbor dogs have fleas, so when they come over to visit, my dogs start scratching. This product seems to get rid of those instant fleas, and keeps things under control.

I use this spray to supplement the generic Advantage drops which don't appear to be too effective (they are the Amazon generic version). I have been checking my dogs daily lately and sure enough on my big Standard Poodle I usually find a few that I can only pick off by spraying them first. The spray disables the fleas so I can pull them off the skin and dispose of them. No more jumping fleas or trying to chase them down!Update- I have recently applied Vectra 3D for dogs to my pets and it has really worked. I surmise that the flea population in my area has developed an immunity to the Advantage product.

Maybe a slight improvement. A good dawn bath worked after several attempts using this spray
