whippy - but effective and works as intended.
This review is from a novice perspective as until now I was a driveway marker owner/user virgin.A picture of my first install and the "turfing" that made me buy markers enclosed.These markers "light up" really well when headlights hit them. (see pic).I think in daylight - when ground is green - one CAN see these markersbut they do not visually "pop" out like an orange color might.That said, in those conditions one does not need markers so lack of 'pop' is ok.As indicated, I having no experience with markers but with that said I thought these markers are "whippy" (not stiff).So much so I gave some thought as to how to pound these into the soil.My guess/first take on how to effectively install was very successful.I used a screw driver to find a rock free spot for the 5" of the screw driver shaft.I then inserted a marker into that hole.I had a piece of pvc pipe 1/2" by 3ft. which I slide over that marker.I then held the top end and pounded marker into soil with a scrap 2x4 end until marker was even with pipe.this technique worked pretty quickly and made for an easy and consistent install.If I had any complaint it would be that the 3 reflective white strips are 1.5" long.My opinion double that would have been better but as it is probably effective as it is.So far. I am satisfied.

Slightly better than toothpicks
Who knows how these will last throughout he season but these things are thin. Pain in the ass to hammer these flimsy stakes into the ground compared to the stakes I got last year. Few stars for affordability.

Need insert to fit base
Nice markers, but are way to small to fit the orange bases I purchased. Is there a rubber or other isert that would keep the markers upright, and not flopped to the side

Good Markers, delivered on time
Not highly reflective: added better reflective tape to help plows see them.

Better than some driveway markers as the reflective works 360°
They do what they are supposed to do... Light up at night when headlights shine on them. They are also helpful in the daylight, and because they are black, they are not so visually disruptive to the landscape vista as perhaps the orange, green or blue ones might be. Better than some driveway markers as the reflective works 360°, whereas flat reflectors only work from a limited "head on only" perspective.Highly recommended for rural areas like where I live to mark driveway entrances, boundaries and obstacles - with or without snow on the ground.
