Universal...it worked

I bought this for my dad's older TV because his remote was destroyed. It works well although the buttons are somewhat tricky and must be pointed directly at the TV to work but this is the case with all older remotes.

Took it out of the package.Put batteries in. And that was at. It worked like the original.

Works as a backup but not all buttons are soft press (the direction circle is a hard click) and for some reason does not register input as well as old remote. Everyone in the house always reaches out for or tries to look for the original remote.

Dose not work great, (really stiff buttons) but dose work. I plan to buy actual Sony remotes soon! Then throw this crap in the never used drawer.

Works with my TV. All is good.

This is my 2nd one in 14 months. Not a big deal at $6 each. Remotes get a lot of abuse and this is probably a knock off but does the job. I can live with replacing every year if needed.
