After moving to florida these are a must have for filtering water.

I love how it's so easy to fill up and use. After the initial rinses through a few times. It make the tap water taste so much better.

[Updated: I was contacted by the seller and waiting on refund. I ended up buying plastic nuts to replace wing nuts. I think they were size M5. Filters are installed and no issues.]When applying light tension to the plastic wing nuts (on both of the filters I purchased), they would pop off threads. I could barely tighten them down. My concerns were confirmed when attempting to filter water. Not being able to fully tighten the nut, there was no seal. Water leaked on my table and kitchen floor. I'm glad that I was watching it rather closely, or 3 gallons of water would have ended up everywhere.

I received my order of two ceramic filters, well packaged and protected from damage. I was initially concerned because there is no identification that there is charcoal inside. The company contact via email replied, shake it, you will hear charcoal that's inside. Yes, charcoal inside as ordered.Ceramic removes particles like bacteria and sediment. Other contamination may be absorbed by charcoal. However, probably not going to eliminate water hardness, dissolved minerals. TDS might be reduced or not?

Water tests prove uinit doesn't filter water any better than from Tap. Water pours threw filter way to fast to effectively remove anything and it doesn't test verification by digital PPM meter.

One is usable 2nd is broken. Be nice to get a replacement as my project needed 2.

As I haven't had a chance to use this yet I do have one just like it in use right now and it was easy to install and it was easy to clean and filters great I recommend this product to anyone wanting to use a filter to filter their water
