Great price!
For the price, it’s a very decent product. Super easy to install and it works as described. I didn’t follow their instructions to install or calibrate but there are great YouTube tutorials that are helpful for that.

The installation involved simply routing the wire in a sensible manner, and the device has been functioning perfectly since. This gear indicator is a fantastic addition for any rider looking to have a clear, real-time display of their current gear, which can significantly enhance riding efficiency and safety. Why pay more?
I have a 2015 Honda CB500F. I've only had this gear indicator for a little over a month, but it works as advertised and looks great. It was easy to install too. I'm just starting to wrench on my bike more, doing more work myself, and this was one of the first things I've installed. It took about 15 minutes from start to finish. It was literally plug and play. I watched a couple of videos on youtube on how to install and installed it a few minutes later. It was also easy to program. Some videos say that programming while the bike is on a stand is easiest. I don't have a bike stand, so I was riding it when I programmed it, but I have to disagree. Programming the indicator while riding the bike could not have been easier! The instructions weren't the best, but I figured it out. The programming maybe took a minute, and in less than a mile it was done.I researched a lot of different gear indicators before buying this one. There are several out there that cost more ($100+), but the reviews for this one were pretty good so I decided to take a chance and it's been great. Unless this starts to short out or something, I don't know why anyone would need to spend $100+ on another gear indicator. I ordered the green and it looks great. I don't know if other indicators will show which gear you're in when the clutch is pulled in, but this one doesn't. I wish it did, but I'm getting used to it. The product came a day later than expected delivery date, but I wasn't really in a hurry, so it still worked out.I'll try to take a better picture and upload later.

Know what gear you're in
Very easy to install. Built to work in any weather. It is almost plug and play, only took a few minutes to install. Just one connection to plug unit into. To cset up all you have to do is fallow the simple instructions and run through the gears. It is easy to read, bright enough to see without trouble during the day and displays accurate gear as fast as you change them. It also has enough length that you can mount it just about anywhere that you want.

Works as advertised 👍
The media could not be loaded. Genuinely surprised about this indicator. I was thinking it was going to be kinda crap since it’s so much cheaper than name brand. Set up was extremely easy. Syncing it was super easy and looks great. It’s too early to tell if it will last long but I am more than happy about it!

Bright & clear LED gear indicator for CRF250L 2019 !
The kit has multiple tie downs, two double sided adhesive blocks and the cable with the red seven segment led display at one end and the male version of the diagnostic connector at the other.Following the instructions it took about 20min to set the whole thing up and install it. Most of the time is taken by figuring out where to put the display, sticking it in place, and then routing the cable to the connector under the seat.I chose next to the existing display - it looks cool! (See photo- I used both sticky pads)Routing the wire is simply a case of avoiding any pinch spots and hot spots! (That’s what she said)Then connecting the cable up to the diagnostic connector under the seat, start up the motorcycle in neutral and the unit counts up.You select first gear and wait for the unit to rapidly flash, and when it shows the next gear, you select it - all the way to 6th gearThe instructions included are in a few languages and are pretty comprehensive- the one thing missing is that it takes about 15-20 seconds for the unit to recognize each gear, and display it, which isn’t a big deal but I thought it was worth mentioning. (I thought it would be a couple of seconds)Also if you can’t elevate the back wheel safely you should do this on a road with no carsIt looks really good, and works perfectly!!!

Awesome Gear Indicator, helpful in tight spots
Used on my Rebel 300, 2017. No complaints, easy to install and program if you have a motocycle stand. Great when you need to know if your in 1st gear. Everything else is legit with bright display. Can't beat an upgrade to a bike that has no RPM indicator nor the gear indicator from factory. Thank you and ride safe!

Great product!
This was plug and play on my 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. The DLC location on my bike is right next to the battery. The plug provided on my LED gear position indicator plugged right into the plug covered by the red cap. No need to cut wires.Instructions said to calibrate the unit while the bike was on a stand with the read wheel off of the ground or a long road if a stand was not available. I used a stand and the unit went through the learning mode for each gear as I sat on the bike in the garage with the rear wheel spinning as I went through each gear. A little bit of a leap of faith as I thought of what it would be like if the bike came off of the stand and launched me into a chest freezer. No issues at all.
