This baby looks good and sound even better. like the other stereo equipment, I have bought from Amazon. Great price, do like I did read the reviews the really helped me decide what to buy.

This was a gift and just received yesterday. As reported to me by the gift recipient, it was easy to set up with other equipment and is exactly what he wanted.

Outstanding player. Love listening to records on Sundays. Love that the preamp is built in.

Anthem; Consumer Advocate. I JUST got this turntable so I will give you my first impressions and then update this review, if needed. Out of the box already assembled, which leads me to believe there were assembly problems voiced by consumers OR I got a refurb that was sold as new. It is attractive, however, plastic and a few thoughts on the quality: Plastic volume knob is cheap, NO foot adjustments on this turntable! (That is a turntable standard!) You cannot adjust the tonearm weight, although it is designed to look like you can! (Nice trick). The automatic lift at the end of the record slides the needle between a quarter and a half inch across at the end of the album surface BEFORE lifting it up! I have to think that will eventually damage the needle and the record. Debating if I should send it back for that reason alone. Bluetooth works fine with a portable receiver hooked up to my stereo. Seems to work OK in converting digitally to files. The audio quality seems to be OK, not great.

I liked it before mine was damaged by a falling object. Broke my tone arm rest and think it screwed up my stylus. In light of this I decided to go ahead and upgrade but discovered you can only change the cartridge for the stylus not the headshell. At least not with most of what’s available. When I determined that my stylus was bad I learned that the headshell was kind of cheap and very basic. I had hoped I could change both my cartridge and headshell for some of the nicer stylish ones but mine is screwed onto the tone arm from the underside. Very stressful removing not to mention reinserting for fear of losing such a tiny screw. I’m not aware of whether or not the tone arm can be replaced or if it’s even worth the attempt. Mind you this in no way takes away from the nice characteristics of the turntable, but this was the first higher quality purchase of a turntable I’ve done and wanted to be able to upgrade as I felt the need to. I would love to be able to change the h3adshell and also replace the tone arm support, which seems like an inexpensive piece that was designed for easy removal.

An excellent bluetooth turntable for a "non-audiophile" user like me. Great looking addition to my stereo equipment for home use. Bluetooth streaming to bluetooth speakers is great.

My GF loves it, even her parents have fun with it. Super easy to set up.

Defective. Disappointed. Sent it back. After some limited correspondence with Akai technical representative trying to troubleshoot the Bluetooth feature, they said I needed to send it back for servicing. Nope, just returned it. Thank you, Amazon, for the quick refund.

Has a pretty good needle for its price and with Bluetooth connectivity you cannot go wrong.

Os cuento que por fin quede satisfecho con un plato, y digo esto porque previamente habia comprado otros dos que tuve que devolver y todo porque los dos, pusieralos donde los pusiera se me acoplaban bien con la tv bien con el amplificador bien con el ordenador, asi que evidentemente si antes de hacerlos trabajar ya me daban problemas de acoplamiento, ... mal negocio . De este AKAI pro 100 solo puedo hablar bien en todos los sentidos, y es verdad que habra agujas y platos mejores, aqui mismo hay paginas en las que pueden costar 20.000€ cada cosa, y sin embargo yo entiendo que lo que relamente importa para escuchar buena musica son los Bafles .Otra cosa buena que tiene es que las patas estan muy bien diseñadas para poder ponerlo sobre un amplificador o sobre un DVD como tengo yo. Lo dicho una buena compra.Lo de digitalizar los vinilos aun no pude bajar en programa que me recomiendan , porque esta la pagina en fase de mantenimiento,cuando pueda digitalizar ya os contare.
