Yes there is some dust. Yes most of the pellets do float but then again I'm not doing underwater terraforming. Are a reddish color with a blackish interior. Are of various sizes which allow a denser packing. Helpful hint to get rid of dust and stop floaters....rinse pellets off, place pellets in water inside a pressure cooker/canner making sure pellets can be or are submersible. Pressure cook/can for about 10 minutes. Can either let cool or just release pressure. Pellets will be floating. Place pellets in container of clean warm water. 99.9% of pellets will sink. Keep pellets underwater until ready to use. Do not allow to dry out. Allow pellets to cool about 15 minutes before using.

Using these for orchids. The product is great for that purpose and for other living walls. Pricing on these type of material is expensive comparatively (to other materials that could be used). Useful and a good product, and the seller was fast and easy to buy from (would buy again). Only the price is the hinderance to using this in place of other materials more often.

This stuff is great. In my ebb and flow hydro system, I use these clay pellets. I've tried other plastic pellets from other manufacturers and found that these are superior to anything else out there. Some people might complain about the clay dust, but that's an easy thing to solve by giving them a quick rinse before putting them into your hydro system. The roots of my plants grip onto these with ease and it provides a sturdy support for the plant so it grows upright.

I over ordered! Apparantly half would have sufficed. Original package was delivered as advertised though, it was 100% sealed (for clay pebbles) . Shipping box however, looked like mad max leftovers. 2 day prime got it here intact. 100% inside.

Middle of the road... gets the job done. Would greatly appreciate if the " Giant " version could be available.. Please make this an option! Again the "Giant " instead or along with " original "

I have zero complaints and I would definitely buy again. The bag was definitely much bigger than I thought it was great value.
