Performance is goodFiltering very effectively. After installation, immediatley the colour changing. Came only for 2 weeks. If available with some washable prefilters, then this product will be excellent for washing machines.otherwise frequent change of cartridge is needed, becuse the filter is accumulated with sediments and the speed of water is reducing.Blue elbow quality can also be improved.

Pretty compact and functional kit for the washing machine. Water is filtered really well. However the most frustrating part is its installation. Water keeps leaking from here and there. The elbow joint provided is pretty short and is a task to fit on Whirlpool machines. You have to use tons of teflon tape to fix all leaks. It's a trial and error job and takes a lot of time.Value for money product though.UPDATE - The filter chokes and becomes unusable if the washing machine is not used frequently. You have open and clean it everytime before usage.

First of all, one big problem is it lacks a washer in the part where you screw the lid of the body to the body. Due to this it leaks unless you tighten the main lid very tight which can damage the plastic threading in the long run. There should have been a flat circular washer in the lid itself.Secondly the piece which I received had problem in the threads where the male-to-male adapter fits. When tightening it, it keeps on rotating and never comes to a stop, so unless I tighten it exactly the right amount, it loosens and starts leaking.I would have asked for an exchange but unfortunately I threw the packaging thinking the product would be good.This can be a good product but needs more quality control and an added washer

Purchase it to tackle the white salt like mud forms on my room coolers honeycomb pads and water chamber holes are also blocked due to hard water lime scale.So i purchased it to only fill the water in my cooler but after using it continuously for 1 months, now those salt like muds are starts appearing again.My filter also looks very brownish colour which means its ok for filtering dust particles erc, not for water softener.

There are many washing machine filters available in the market but are way too expensive.. If the water ppm values are high then the expensive filters will be done in a week and the replacement cartridges are expensive too. Keeping all those factors in mind this is a perfect filter for me. Though I have to change cartridges very frequently they don't burn your pockets and it's a fairly simple to install and change.. I have seen a very marked difference in the cloth wash quality after using this filter. It obviously adds to the washing machines service life..Certainly recommend it..

The build of the filter compartment is good but the fitment provided as below average and starts leaking.. Worst in terms of long term, I had removed the filter to clean after month and now it is leaking through the fitment.. Bad product, stay away..

For long time I was searching for a water filter which is economical and will clean tap water of sediment and dust. Delhi water supply has a lot of mud in it. Earlier used filters by Waterscience company but they were ineffective and too expensive to maintain. Finally this filter did the job well. It is a simple sponge sediment filter (like the one in RO system) which clears water of all sediments. Also provided are water softner balls ?alum which is supposed to be good for skin. I bought 3 sets of filters ....2 for bathing taps and one for washing machine. After using in washing machine, the pungent smell in washed clothes is gone. Definitely recommend to buy. It's easy to install like DIY.
