Worked perfectly on the 2003 Jeep TJ

I recently installed the ACDelco Professional 18B232 Rear Brake Drums on my 2002 Jeep TJ, and they’ve been outstanding! These drums are a perfect fit for my 1997-2002 model, aligning seamlessly with the OEM specs. The G3000 SAE-qualified cast iron construction feels incredibly solid, and the fact that they’re pre-balanced and require no machining made installation a breeze—done in under an hour. After several off-road trips and daily driving, the braking performance is smooth, with no noise or vibrations. They even came nicely packaged with a protective oil coating to prevent rust. Great value and top-notch quality—highly recommend these ACDelco drums for any Jeep TJ owner looking to refresh their brake system.

These drums fit perfectly on my rig, took the fire engine red paint well after self etching primer was applied, were not out of round or warped in any way, and seem either comparable or better than the OEM drums they replaced. Since the OEM drums lasted over 250K miles before needing replaced, I seriously doubt I will need to do this again on this Jeep...ever. I'm sure it would have been an excellent opportunity to replace the axle seals while her rear end was up in the air--If I felt like screwing with the differential and buying new gear oil that is. I did not, so I didn't. Still, good parts for a decent price and I would buy these again if I needed to.

i purchased these 2 of these drums for my 1991 jeep wrangler in order to do a complete refresh of the rear brakes. each drum was packed in a box. in the box each drum was inside a plastic bag. when i removed the drum from the bag i noticed that it was covered in an oily film. this is exactly how an auto parts store sells their drums. when compared to the original drums i noticed that the max dimension was stamped on the inside edge of the drum unlike the original that had the max dimensions cast into the face of the drum. this in no way affects how the drum performs. i also noticed that one of the drum had more weight attached to the face of the drum to balance it. i installed these drums with the wagner brake shoes and raybestos brake spring kit i also purchased from amazon. the drums installed perfectly. when i adjusted the rear shoes fit the drum it took only a few clicks of the adjuster to get the shoes to fit properly. after 2 weeks of driving these drum are working great
