Men's Winter Jacket Windproof Softshell Thermal Warm Pockets Cycling Running Mountain Biking Cold Weather Gear

I actually bought this for running about a year ago. I live in a fairly flat area in the Midwest so the winds can get kind of nasty and I wanted something that wasn't bulky but would still be warm. I've been super impressed with this jacket. It is indeed - warm. I just ran in it earlier with a "feels like" temp of 14F with winds gusting at 20mph. I had on a t-shirt, baselayer, and this jacket (along with lined running tights/sockhat/thick gloves) and by the time I was about two miles in I was plenty warm and by mile four I could feel my back sweating. If I had a complaint - it would be that this jacket is almost TOO warm. I really only need it when it gets below freezing with some wind. Bottom line - if I lost it, I'd buy another one. For the price and the functionality along with the value, I think it's a solid buy. Plus I love that it's nice and bright. Bonus for visibility. I did buy mine on sale so I paid less then the current price but even with the difference, I'd still buy it again. Very pleased with this purchase.

Fantastic cycling jacket! I own many Baleaf products and all fit well with the functionality you'd expect. Just the right amount of space in the shoulders and chest for when you're down in the horns on your road bike. Breaths nicely, not too hot, and a good weight for colder days! Big plus is the thoughtful reflectors that are in the right spots for cars to see you from behind!

I've used this jacket for several weeks in late fall weather ranging from the high 40's to mid-60's. I typically just wear a tee shirt underneath. It provides just the right amount of warmth for a vigorous ride. The construction is high quality, and I've washed it several times with no issues. I like the high zip-up collar on the jacket, particularly at the start of a ride on a cold, windy day. Probably the only thing I find lacking for a winter coat is that there is very little at the sleeves, other than some loose-fitting elastic to keep cold air from going up the sleeves. Some velcro straps, or something along those lines at the sleeves would be a good idea.

Absolutely love this jacket for biking. The color, reflectors, the longer in the back. It is lightweight but warm, blocks the wind.

Warm enough for 45degrees. Nice quality. Bright color. Enough pockets inside and out. I like that I can raise or lower the zipper with one hand while riding. Seems to be good windblock too. I am 6’4” and this is a Large. If you are little heavy XL may be better.

My wife purchased this jacket for me in Oct of 2023. I have ridden my bicycle ~675 miles in Indiana winter (Oct 2023-April 2024) wearing this jacket. It is wind proof and has some thermal protection. Many times, I did wear multiple layers under this jacket. This allowed me to dress for the weather and stay comfortable without overheating while riding. I rode in temperatures as low as 16 degrees Fahrenheit wearing this jacket. The neck opening is big enough to allow me to tuck in my balaclava and not be too tight. The elastic around the cuffs and waist is tight enough to seal but not so tight that is cuts off circulation. I love the zipper vents on the front of the jacket. They allow you to let in cooling airflow to prevent overheating when you have worn too many layers or climbing that big hill. Although it is not advertised as waterproof, it did keep me dry when I was caught in drizzling rain in 40-degree weather In December. I’ve been cycling for decades, but never have been a fan of winter cycling. Normally, I’ve been stuck on an indoor trainer for the colder months, but this jacket has changed the game. I did a short ride today in 40 cloudy degrees with a 15 mph wind and I never felt it. The fit is excellent, quality is there, and great protection from the cold wind.

Being 6-3 and 220, products from Asia never seem to fit, but these fit me perfectly (XXL). I have worn this all fall with a tshirt layer and then a merino jersey and am comfortable down to about 45F. Below that you may want another layer.
