My boyfriend decided he wanted to order this product to make a Halloween animatronic. It made a great addition to our Halloween decor outside. Definitely recommend this product.

I was very happy with all the features of this little guy! I used it in an awesome power supply build that I use all the time. It would be nice if it was a buck/ boost converter but I can’t complain. It’s not a boost converter so if you put in 12 volts you’re only gonna get 12 volts out. You have to put in about 32 volts to get out the rated 30 volts.

Not obvious to program, but once I figured out how to set the current and voltage limits, it is great. Be careful, it will output maximum voltage out of the box, program limits before connecting your equipment. The display is excellent and power output reading is very useful.

Make sure you use a inline fuse on the input side. I had planned on installing a fuse but during testing the product internally short circuted. It failed on the second test use. It went up in smoke along with melting the input wires. Do not rely on the built in protections as they do not work.

Product work great having no issues at all this time around. This is the second one I purchased. I am happy with the results. The first one blow soon as I added power to it. It runs at full right off the bat so I recommend using a simple 9v battery to set it up. Not sure if my first was defective or not but it's an experimentive project to begin with and things due happened. Thanks for selling these can't find things like this at a local hardware these days.

MY fault...but don't be me: I had big plans for major V changes...but ur LIMITED to 2 to 3W change!!These will still be useful (&, hey, it's nice to have 3 of 'em!)...but in a far more truncated breadth of utility than my over-excited, not-carefully-readin' unrealistic plans originally cast them in. ;)

I used two of these modules to create a bench power supply with dual outputs capable of delivering 0- 50 volts at 3.5 amps each. I used 2 power transformers I had on hand and made a printed circuit board with the necessary rectifiers and filter capacitors. The result is a very capable bench power supply that has become a very useful addition to my shop.

So simple to setup and use. I built a bench top lab power supply from an old ATX power supply and needed to regulate the output. The display and accuracy of the output is great.
