This is awesome yard food! We are surrounded by agriculture & trees & have a doggo so we have a variety of factors happening in our yard. This is a staple to help our yard stay healthy.

Well worth the price.
This fertilizer is excellent. This brought my grass to life in late fall and even as winter has started and it is 25 degrees outside, the grass is still bright green and not growing wild. Absolutely amazing.

I can't say enough good things about Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Lawn Fertilizer. After using it for the first time last fall, my lawn came back in the spring looking healthier and greener than ever before. This stuff really works to nourish the grass roots and prepare them for the harsh winter months. It was easy to spread and the coverage area was perfect for my yard size. My lawn looks incredibly thick and vibrant, and I'm convinced this is the reason. If you want a beautiful lawn next spring, this is the fertilizer you need to put down in the fall.

Great price. Great product
Great value for great product. Grass was dried out and full of weeds. Very hot dry summer. Spread this fertilizer and after watering for a few days, grass is coming back nicely. Dark green and healthy looking with hardly any weeds. Extremely happy. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my lawn
I love this fertilizer for my lawn. We have tried professional lawn care and my grass seems to not do as well with their chemicals. We're even asked by neighbors what we use on our lawn because it also does great during the summer months with little watering.

Winterizer fertilizer that works
I have used this product for many years. The grass comes in thick in spring.

I applied this product towards the end of October, 2025. I will add to this review in the spring of 2026 two let readers know how it worked. In terms of the application, I used a long spreader with the recommended settings. No issues with the amount being dispersed or the quality of the granular.
