This is my second Nordik monitor stand. I first bought one for my office at work and was so impressed by the build quality, the beauty, and the functionality I bought a second for my desk at home. The design frees up needed desk space while also helping to hide unsightly cords/docks/peripherals from view. The height is adjustable slightly, I think about a half inch or so.Assembling is incredibly simple by screwing in the 6 legs into pre-attached bases.

As other reviews have mentioned, I think the quality of the wood top is excellent. Board is nice and straight, sturdy, and good looking. Be aware that while the name "Nordic" might have you thinking it's imported from Northern Europe, it is in fact a product of China. Still, I was quite impressed with the plank.The legs, however, were a disappointment and ultimately the reason I'll be returning this shelf. It's really an engineering design fault. The screw-in posts for both the shelf and the feet are difficult to evenly match up if you intend to set them at anything but their shortest position. This didn't work for me, as I needed more clearance underneath the shelf. Likewise, I found the clearance between the legs wasn't sufficient for my purposes either, ultimately leading to the return regardless of the issues with the "adjustability" of the legs.

BUY IT! This monitor riser is gorgeous and goes perfect with my butchers block desktop from ikea. It is real wood and the legs are high quality steel and adjustable so you can make the riser as level as possible. Nordik's customer service is also 10/10. They answered all of my questions quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. Great company, great products.

Product was as expected based on listing information. Dimensions, contents, etc.External packaging could be improved as the cardboard was quite thin and noticably beaten up during shipping and being worried if contents were damaged. Luckily, internal packaging was impressive as a good amount of foam inserts were used to keep components from moving too much in box and helped protect everything.Assembly was simple enough even without the instruction pamphlet (just screwing legs on). Build quality is as expected for this price point.Star deducted primarily due to QC needing improvement. As can be seen in photo the staining can easily be seen where it just was not done correctly along the side (this is a problem at multiple spots around edges).Nice to haves would have some minor adjustability in legs to allow manual adjustments to level in case of use on slightly uneven surface. Another improvement would be inclusion of additional rubber pads for the shelf legs as the standard ones do not provide the most confidence in preventing the shelf from sliding around.
