Letters on a couple of keys had already faded away. Purchasing this keyboard replacement for use as spare parts was worth it. Excellent and perfect fit key replacements for my Acer Predator Helios PH315-53 keyboard. Also, cheaper than purchasing the individual keys. Easy to remove and easy to install vs removing and replacing the entire keyboard.

Necesitaba cambiar el teclado de mi antigua laptop, antes de venderla. Y este reemplazó funciono de maravilla, todas las teclas hasta ahora funcionan (me informa el amigo mío que me la compró) y si tienen el led original, osea, es iluminado.

Make no mistake, even after repairing laptops for years, this was a REAL tough keyboard to replace. You literally have to break the entire laptop all the way down to it's frame. EVERYTHING comes off and the keyboard is literally still riveted in place. I broke all of those rivets, installed this keyboard and glue it's frame to the laptop frame. Waited for it to dry and then reassembled the laptop. It was worth it. The keyboard works beautifully and lights up nicely. I am using it to type this! Great movement, good touch/feel. Glad I found this product.

So, it fits, and it has the same features as the original one in my Acer Nitro laptop. But the stamping on some of the keys is just slightly offset, the backlighting is uneven, and the S key in particular (but W and A as well, these crucial keys for gaming) needs to be hit extra hard sometimes (while also doing double characters at other times). Issues 2 and 3 may be because I couldn't find my soldering iron to properly put all the plastic rivets back; I'll update if these problems change after I do that. Also the spacebar is squeaky, but I expect that'll ease with time and use. It was cheaper than buying a new upper case from Acer, that's about all I care about.

This is not an easy install, mostly because it's hard to get the old keyboard out. I did not use gromets or glue to hold the new keyboard in place, I just "floated" it in the case and did not feel a difference to the original at all. I suggest you replace the heat sink while you have the back open with thermal paste as it made a huge difference to the running temperatures.

Realmente no hay mucho que decir. Es exactamente el mismo teclado que vienen en la laptop de fábrica. La única diferencia es que este es para reemplazarlo en caso de daños al original, por lo tanto tiene tan buena calidad como el de fábrica. Llegó en tiempo y forma!

Untested, untried, but it loooks good. After getting it I looked up the videos on how to. Rather than risk breaking a connector in the laptop or wrangling off then on the plastic mounting posts, I decided to live with a couple of flaky keys.
