Excellent!
Comfort is on another level! The earpads are so thick and plushy soft, all day wear is no issue. More than makes up for the lack of earcup swivel. Excellent seal every time. The headband, while at first, doesn't seem to have very thick padding, is actually enough and I've had no issues. And these are really light too. The openings are large enough to engulf my entire ear with no pressure points. The clamp force is a bit light, kinda like the WH1000XM4's were for me. For the lowest end of Sivgs'a headphone line, these are top notch. Everything just oozes premium. The sound: amazing! Definitely not a very flat response. It does have boosted bass, however, there's no mid bleed. There's also a bit of a boost in the 8k treble region which can cause a somewhat sharp (but not sibilant) sound depending on the music, however, my ears are becoming accustomed to it. A bit of a rise between the 1k & 2k regions that make these slightly upper-mid forward with a dip in the 500hz area which starts around the 200hz and picks back up around 600hz mark that contributes to the non mid-bleeding bass. Female vocals tend to shine here. Overall a well done tuning. A "W" shape if you will. Fun, energetic and articulated. Excellent for the price point. (Note: I did put these through a 40 hour burn-in) All my thoughts on the sound are after the burn-in. Super glad I got these. The only negative, for me, is the cable. It's a nice cable in general, but the twist is very tight which causes the cable, overall, to be a bit stiff. If I twist the top end of the cable, near the Y split, it will transfer down to the plug and actually flip my dongle dac over (Celest CD-20). So, yeah, invest in a softer cable. I was able to find a custom cable maker online that's making me a 3.5 to dual 2.5 with my preferred length and color. These are fast becoming my go to for everyday closed backs. Highly recommended.

Absolutely superior sound, amazing quality, comfort, nothing to hate.
So I have been searching for the longest time to find a pair of premium headphones that fit my style of preferred sound, this it it! Reviews were good and these look so nice that I decided to try them, these do not disappoint. Build: These headphones are built extremely well. They have no visible plastic on them, not to light or heavy, and the wood earcups are beautiful. The cups scratch easily due to the high gloss clear coat and the fact that these are polished to a mirror shine. I recommend holding these by the headband and NOT cleaning the cups as they will scratch no matter how careful you are. They feel like tanks and I have never seen such a well made cable before. Using real metal with a spring at the base of the plug to reduce bending, you can clearly tell Sivga did not cut corners! Comfort: These are by far the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. The headband and ear cushions are made from protein leather, a man made synthetic material. These are so soft it is like a marshmallow giving you a soft hug. The pads are super thick and very compactable, this means they conform to your ears quite well. These headphones do not fit a tiny head, I would say they would fit a normal sized head nicely. I had to put a rolled up cloth in between my head and the band. For reference my hat size is 6 3/4, maybe 6 7/8 when my hair is grown out. I am not sure how well this synthetic leather will hold up, they do not feel like garbage though. I will most likely use these for my workouts as they do not fly off your head when moving a lot. Sound Quality: These headphones are not in any way flat or analytical sounding. I noticed some saying the mid bass is too overwhelming and that it is too much. I find this not to be the case. I have looked for a long time to find a headset that packs a deep, smooth full, rich, undistorted bass that will not overpower anything else, this is it! This headset packs a superb bass, it is in no way dirty or muddy. The bass is big, warm, bold, and very much in your face. These also pack an astonishing amount of clarity. They are so detailed and perfect in the mids and highs as well. I can't believe this set has such a thunderous bass, yet such perfect treble. The headphones have highs that are present and very audible, but not overly sharp. The drivers can handle so much vibration without buzzing or rattling, this is exactly what I have been looking for. The style of sound is warm, big, bold, balanced, clear, with the perfect amount of warmth. The 50mm speakers contribute a lot, plus the wood really helps the sound resonate beautifully. They sound so good with even the factory cable. I thought they couldn't be better, until I tried the the 4.4mm balanced cable. Yes, it got better still. When using the 4.4mm plug with an amp that has balanced circuitry there is a noticeable difference in the sound. The sound stage is wider, imaging is clearer, details are separated, and they are brought out more. This headset already is great in these aspects even using the normal 3.5mm unbalanced connection. Mind you these do have a stronger upper mid bass, yet not overpowering to my ears. If this is something you want to tweak, equalize them. Comparisons/value: I have compared this pair of Sivga Robins to other headphones and used it with various equipment. These are amazing across the board. I have used other sets like Sony MDR-V6, and Meze 99 Classics. The Meze headphones came the closest to these, yet did not match up in my opinion. My Meze 99s are also wooden enclosed headphones and award winning. This being said, they are no slouch themselves. They have the same level of clarity and detail, but the Sivga Robins have a bigger and more in your face sound. The Meze 99s are very clearly quieter. They also are not as comfortable and do not stay on the head as the Sivga headphones. Mind you the Sivga Robins cost $150 and Meze 99 Classics are $300 and awarded. The Sivgas sound better to me despite being half the price and having no awards. As for my Sony headphones, not even close to either. I used the Sivga Robin headphones with my IFI Hip Dac 3 connected to my Samsung Galaxy S20 5g playing MQA songs from Tidal music. I believe these headphones are some of the best priced on the market right now. Final thoughts: I do not know what $1000 plus headphones sound like as I have not heard any. I doubt anything would be better than this although, I may be wrong. When people say something is better or worse it can be very subjective to taste. It also can depend on the other sound equipment you use with it. I base my opinion of the Sivga Robin headphones on the price point, build quality, comfort, level of detail/clarity, ability to display sound properly, and what all of that should be at said price point. The Meze 99 Classics are double the price, yet not even matching anything more then general sound like clarity, detail, and build. These Sivga headphones have a style to their sound that is just different, not necessarily better or worse. So my advice is get a headset that has the sound signature you are looking for and know this before you buy the product. Things like looking at as many reviews as possible help a lot. I am providing my unbiased review not based on personal taste, just the bare facts. If you want everything I described these headphones as, these are a superb choice.

a headphone not for all but for many, it presents great features like carbon reinforced drivers and a wood/metal build, that feels absolutely fantastic, definitely worth it both for quality and style.
