Tech21 Evo Check for iPhone 13 Mini – Ultra-Protective Phone Case with 16ft Multi-Drop Protection

Great drop protection! It fits great on any phone it is sized out for. We’ve had these on at least 4 phones. Definitely would recommend for not just fit and protection but also it isn’t bulky at all and all of the features of the device will work as they normally should.

I’ve used Tech21 phone cases for years on many iPhone models, and they’ve always protected my phones from big drops, even 6–8 feet onto a corner. But the iPhone 13 and 13 Plus have a camera setup that sticks out, and that part is still easy to damage no matter what case you use. That’s an Apple design issue, not a case issue. The SaharaCase tempered glass camera protector solves the camera lens problem. It fits well, installs in under a minute, and adds a strong layer of protection over the lenses. It also works fine with the Tech21 case and I recommend both for total camera protection to keep the camera area from getting chipped. The case matched the photos, appears genuine, and was easy to install. Highly recommend and would buy again.

Case fits, looks, and feels great.

I am writing this review in 2025, after having bought this case in 2021 and using it continuously on my phone for almost 4 years. These cases really can't be beat. Zero damage to my phone after all these years, including many, many drops. On a previous iPhone with a Tech21 case, I was jogging in our rec center, on an elevated walkway about 15 feet above a hard gymnasium floor, and by accident literally threw my phone up into the air, and it fell at least 20-25 feet onto the hardware gym floor. I was sure the screen would be broken, but there was zero damage to the phone. That incident sold me on Tech21 cases. I'm writing this review after looking at my previous case purchase, as I'm now about to by a Tech21 case for my iPhone 17 (of course buying the appropriate case - not the iPhone 13 case lol).

This cover fit perfectly and the camera cover fits perfect. No distortion taking pictures. It looks great and really protects the phone. We know because phone was dropped on a rug from about 3 ft. .

This item was purchased for my personal use. Every single tech21 phone case I've had has outlived the "boyfriend era" of the ex who introduced tech21 products to me. I enjoy the high protection level of these cases, because I am a naturally clumsy person with very little spatial awareness and no depth perception. I have dropped my phone so many times, yet while it's been in a tech21 case the phone has emerged intact. Some things I really like about this Evo Check case: 1) the smooth, but not slippery, sides of the case. I am able to easily grab the phone when it's lying face down/up, but the texture is still pleasant. 2) the raised lip of the screen edge and the camera edge. I like knowing that I am not slapping the screen of my phone into a puddle of coffee by accident. 3) the colorful power and volume buttons. I love colorful things, and although I purchased the black version of the case because I didn't want my phone case to be TOO obnoxious, it came with different colors of power / volume buttons that you can pop in/out of the case. I discovered that the buttons from another tech21 iphone13 case also can fit into this case and vice versa, so even if you do purchase the same color as another person you're close to, it doesn't have to look exactly the same. Some things I don't really like: 1) I wish there were a more affordable version of the iphone13 case with the magsafe ring. I ended up attaching a magnet ring, and while it doesn't really impede my use of the phone case, it's not super aesthetically pleasing to me. 2) I liked the older cases where you could see the orange corner bumpers mostly because I liked that I could see the orange corners. 3) uhhhh that was it. 5/5 would repurchase this case to protect my phone from me and my partner and whatever little toddler gremlins come asking if I have any games on my phone.

El color de mi casa es totalmente diferente al de la imagen. Y el color de los botones para subir y bajar el volumen y el botón de encendido tampoco coincide. Se ganaron 1 estrella de 5 por mentir. Gracias
