Excellent chessboard, incredible price.

I read a lot of reviews before landing on this chess board. I purchased it for my daughter's birthday, and she loves it. Truth be told, it's nice enough for me to leave sitting out in my living room. I appreciate that it is a solid wood board. I purchased another chess set on Amazon so that I had the weighted pieces that made complimented this board best. Everyone who comes over wants to play.

Very awesome and super stoked to have this. Got awesome chess pieces for Christmas and was in need of a good quality board to go with the quality pieces.Had to have specific sized squares and was glad they had the measurements in the description. Got it in two days and excited to play with them. Very Satisfied Customer!

One of the squares had a problem with the laminated wood covering. Rather than send it back, I managed to apply some carpenter's glue to it, but it is annoying and falsely advertised as "inlaid wood" when in fact it is a thin laminate. To make matters worse, it wasn't manufactured properly. The board looks OK now, but it's of below-average value at best.
