This case is incredibly solid, secure and beautiful. It feels stronger and better constructed than my Otterbox Commuter that costs $39 and was promptly returned.Goes on easy enough and snug to the phone but won’t rip my nails if it needs to come off. It is comfortable to hold but absolutely not squishy or soft. Slides into my pocket with little effort yet doesn’t feel like it’ll fall out.The red is perfect for my Project Red device and looks nothing like the “pink jellybean” another reviewer referred to. Since it’s fairly transparent, maybe that other person put it on a lighter colored phone which could lighten/dilute the look. On my device it is a rich blood-like color that looks absolutely stunning.Okay - so why am I disappointed? Smudges! It is not smudge resistant. I know this sounds petty when compared to so many positives, but I wonder if the inevitable future dropping might also leave visible scratches, too. I’ll have to just wait and (hopefully never) see.Aesthetics are as important as functionality. When you own an expensive, sleek, sexy phone that you are constantly handling, something like that can become a distraction.I decided that all in all this case is well worth the price for the amount of protection and peace of mind it provides. I’ll just be sure to wipe it down to keep it pretty.

I actually like this case enough to give it an (initial) review.I've only been using it for a few days so far (given the phone came out less than a week ago) but my initial impressions are very good. I've had a lot of phone cases over the years, and this one really looks great. But what I wanted to call out is the slightly rubberized texture of the plastic used. It fits snugly and feels really good for keeping a grip on the phone. Overall I'm really impressed so far!

There’s a lip that protects the back of the phone (camera area) but not a lip on the front. There’s no way it’ll protect my phone if I drop it. And at $30? I’m returning it.

I ordered this before I received my phone and even surprised the Apple guy when I let him know I already had a cover. It was nice looking and easy to put on and remove. The only reason I didn’t give a five star review is because I have not dropped and tested whether it is as protective as claimed. It fitted perfectly and I am happy with my purchase.

I upgraded my phone and was looking for a case that still had rounded edges which was not an easy task! This case does have slightly rounded edges but is extremely comfortable to hold. It is not bulky. The silver trim is subtle and I like that the side buttons are flush with the edge of the case. I am not going to intentionally throw my phone on the ground to check it’s durability, but so far so good!The only slight negatives for me are that I wish the guide bumps on the side buttons were a little more pronounced. It’s hard to learn where these new buttons are as the placement is slightly different than where they were on my old phone. Also, although the back of the case is clear, it has very subtle boxes throughout which blurs my phone’s skin a bit. It’s not terrible, but slightly annoying.Overall, I give the case 4 1/2 stars and I’m very glad I found it.

There isn’t any aluminum on this case anywhere. It’s not really red either. Looks like a pinkish jelly bean.

Fits perfectly. Edges are a little soft to help with phone not slipping from your hands. Great choice 👍

I asked on the product page if this case was mag safe compatible and the question was answered with a yes it is compatible, but I just got a mag safe charger from Apple and it fell off of the case really easily. The case itself is fine, the only thing that bothered me besides the mag safe issue is that the back picks up dirt easily and sticks on until you wipe it with a wet cloth. I had other clear cases with other phones and this is first one that gets dirty quickly. With those cons, I’m taking off one star for the review.
