Mary FrancesDoxie - Mini Bag

So, a good friend saw this bag somewhere in the Hill Country (near Austin TX) and sent me a photo and I said "OMG! I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT!" But then she told me it was $123!!! Ok, so I looked on Amazon and found it for about 25% less and purchased it right away (Amazon asked me if I wanted insurance on it - I guess the beads can come loose?) It was brand new and well wrapped, but shipped in a plastic envelope - I would have preferred a box for something that suggests insuring! But it's stunning, especially if you are a dachshund lover! I sent photos to my younger sister and her first comment was "But, BUT, I BOUGHT this for you! You told me not to send it yet." And sure enough, she'd texted me about it two months ago... DOH! The price is high, but for Mary Frances, I understand that's par. Oh, it's made in India, so possibly for a fraction of the price? But I LOVE it! And that's all that matters!

What a gorgeous evening bag! I got so many compliments on it and I love it’s a little bit of my personality being expressed even when I’m wearing a formal fancy gown.

I love Dachshunds and when I saw this small purse I really thought it was adorable. It is even better than I thought. It's just beautiful.....This is a bag you will wear at night to go out. It will hold your phone in the back pocket that is made for it....glasses...lipstick...and a credit card......It really is special. Happy I ordered it.

Lots of complements the first time I carried it. Dachshunds are my favorite dog. The bag is very snug, which limits contents, but a phone and lipstick will fit.

This was a bit smaller than I hoped. Can barely get my iPhone and keys in the purse, but it is adorable. I’m disappointed that it didn’t come with a bag for its storage. I have another Mary Frances bag that came with a nice fabric bag for storage

Love dachshunds so this bag was for me. Great for evenings not so much for everyday.
