Super Easy Slush Maker like when I was a kid, any kid could use
Late 80s I had some slush makers that you froze in freezer and took out to pour sugary drink in and scrap sides with a spoon to create the slush. Back then as now, the process is faster by putting the freezer tube back in freezer with drink in it, then take out and scrape sides every 30 seconds so you have a Slushie in 5 minutes or less. Fast forward to today with this slush maker, the same is true, the size is about the same as then (fits about 2/3 to 3/4 of a 12ounce can of soda in it). But one thing is different, this one came with a slush scraper tool that works really good in both directions you can use it and great stirring the entire sides and round inside bottom. So you can scrape all sides completely and very quickly to make your Slushie the fastest you possibly can. And when your drink ices up a bit more than you meant to let it, the tool is very good at scraping it down till side is clean, or using more pressure with tool front against the side to slam the curved edge of scoop against that thicker ice to dislodge it. Now if you leave it till its fairly solid ice then you will have to wait for it to melt or use a real spoon to slowly scrape the ice off so you don't stress the edges of the given scoop scraper too much (I've put it through its paces with over 20 slushies now (refreezing between each) and it's still working great and the scraper edges still shaped perfect without any wear on it (still smooth). This is the best Slushie maker out of the 2 kinds I bought. Both worked. But I prefer the design of this one (thick freeze walls means its cold enough to make a slushie in 4-6 hours of freezing the freezer cup so far as I have seen it work and this one slushies up much faster; it has a rounded bottom so its much easier to scrape the bottom clear of all ice with the awesome scraper tool or regular spoon). (The other Slushie maker was the Slushie Puppy one, it could hold a tiny bit more liquid..few tablespoons worth, but was designed with thinner walls and flat bottom; which means the slush maker needs more freeze time to work at all and takes 10-15 min to fully slush up unlike this one which is fully slushed up in 5 min or less; plus it gave a scraper with a straw attached which means it takes longer to clean even if only used for the scraper...plus if left in drink at beginning of it slushing up sometimes the drink will be pushed up and out of straw if left alone in the drink...so many reasons I prefer this cola one's plain scraper tool that's also more sturdy to scrape the ice from sides). In total this Slushie maker deserves 6 stars!! Its fast, easy to use, and comfortable to use, plus faster to clean (the inside width is perfect sides to use the kitchen brush cleaner stick wands for a few seconds to fully clean inside fast). If the scraper tool left in drink as it slushies up it hasn't caused any problems at all. The other Slushie maker I tried (slush puppy one) was ok deserving 3-4 stars at least since it does work, but it takes longer to get cold enough, takes longer to make the drink a slushie, takes longer to clean, can be messy with straw, straw tool not comfortable in the hand to use, and lastly the angle of the straw scraper can be awkward to use and harder for younger kids to use correctly.

Cute and works great
This was one of my birthday gifts to my husband, and he really loved it. Since it takes a while to freeze, I got him a set of two so he can always have one in the freezer. Pros: - Adorable! I love how these look, and it's ultimately why I ended up choosing these. - Work well! I was skeptical, but it really does turn into a slushie! The standard technique creates more of a liquidy slushie, but you can fiddle around with how you make it to create a thicker consistency, like an Icee. - High quality and solid build. - The experience of using the set and watching it turn into a slushie is honestly really fun and sweet! Cons: - Very slow. You need to put it in the freezer for many hours before you can use it. Because of this, I bought a set of two, but I imagine that just using one could be a little annoying. - Easy to use, maybe takes a little effort to master. I don't mind at all how it is with its basic functionality. However, my husband's very particular, and he spent a while mastering a technique where it turns out with the exact consistency he wants it. If you're also quite specific about your expectations, then you may want to take a while to experiment with how you use this. Ice makes a huge difference for him.

Fun and works!
Got this for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas and she’s obsessed with it. It works! She loves experimenting with different liquids creating a slushy- she’s used iced coffee, juice, and pop! It’s fun! The cup is well made although when it froze and she was scrapping the liquid it ended up slipping out of her hands and the outer cup ended up breaking. She just uses an alternative wider cup to house the inner cup ( outer cup is to protect hands from the cold and the inner cup is the one that actually freezes the liquid) It’s easy to clean the cup and it does not take up any more room than an average cup. I totally recommend you get this for kids. She uses it nearly everyday.

Does not work with non-sugar drinks
I can purchase a Coca-Cola slush anywhere. What I can't get is a Coke Zero or diet Coke slush. Unfortunately, although they don't say so in the description, this product does not work with non-sugar drinks. This needs to be said up front.

Works (Almost Too) Well
I want to forewarn you, this is a lonnnnggggg review. If you'll bear with me, though, hopefully you will find it worth reading. If not, my apologies in advance. :-) So far, I've only used dairy products in my slushy cup, not soda or juice. If I find I have more to add to this review, after I try using soda/juice, I will be sure to write an addendum. Also, at the bottom of this review, I will elaborate on which dairy products I've tried, my (so-called) 'recipes', how I pre-mix said dairy products, etc., in hopes that my experimenting will give other folks some ideas and/or save them time. The description for this ZUKU slushy cup claims one can make milkshakes with it. Well, that's true... sort of. It does, indeed, become the consistency of a milkshake, but only for a little while. As it continues freezing it becomes the consistency of soft-serve ice cream (actually, I prefer that over a milkshake) so, if you want a milkshake, you'll need to drink rather quickly, before it's too thick to drink. I estimate that it takes, perhaps, 8-10 mins until it reaches the soft-serve stage. It has been my experience that when I have an inch or so left in the bottom of the cup it becomes like frost on a windshield, stiffer than soft-serve ice cream but not really like your typical 'hard' (scoopable) ice cream. It's still tasty, of course, just frosty... literally. I'll warn you, too, that once it starts to freeze, if you don't continuously scrape the sides, it will freeze HARD and it will have to thaw some before you can scrap it off. So, be sure to keep rotating the cup and scraping! ‐----------------------------- TIPS: 1) The cup will only hold about 8 oz at a time. 2) To prevent the ingredients from freezing at different stages (when adding more than one liquid), I use an empty 16.9 oz water bottle to pre-mix my ingredients. That, also, allows one to make a double batch, either to eat/drink all in one sitting or to have some ready for the next time. 3) If you want to use your mixture all in one sitting, when your milkshake/ice cream is about half gone, top it off and stir well. Keep stirring/scraping/eating, gradually adding the rest of your mixture until it's all in. 4) I'm sure it goes without saying, the longer the cup is out of the freezer, the more slowly it will freeze your ingredients. I haven't had it NOT freeze all 16(-ish) ounces, but the last little bits are definitely softer than when the cup was colder. ------------------------------- INGREDIENTS I'VE TRIED (very few, so far): The first 2 times I used flavored coffee creamer, half and half, and 2% milk* (which is what we happened to have on hand). The first time, using a 16.9 oz water bottle, I mixed 4(-ish) oz amaretto flavored creamer, 6-ish oz half and half, and 6-ish oz milk*. The second time, I used a tiny bit less (3-ish oz) flavored creamer (Irish Cream this time), a tiny bit more half and half (7-ish oz), and the same 6-ish oz milk. I couldn't taste the creamer as much as I prefer to so, in the future, I'll opt for quantities closer to what I used the first time. The third time (tonight), I used about 3T real coconut cream (I used Coco Re'al brand real cream of coconut because it's in a squeeze bottle, not a can), 4T whipped cream from a can (that's harder to measure because I sprayed it directly into the bottle, so 4T is just a 'guesstimate'), then I put in half and half to about 2" from the top, finally, I topped it off with milk, leaving enough space to be able to shake it all up. That mixture was REALLY good, but I might add just a touch more coconut cream, for more coconut flavor. I haven't tried this, yet, but one MIGHT be able to stir in small amounts of things like toffee bits, crushed peanuts, popping candy and so on. I want to try adding flavored extracts at some point, too. I recommend that you do as I have... experiment... use your imagination... and, most importantly, have fun! *Whole (vitamin D) milk will be a bit creamier, 1% a bit less, but I wouldn't recommend using skim. I don't know how well non-dairy products will freeze (or not freeze, as the case may be), so you'll need to find out by trial and error. ‐----------------------------- UPDATE, Junex17, 2022 I tried Minute Maid fruit punch (non-carbonated) in it. It 'slushed up' quite nicely and it didn't get over-frozen, like the dairy priduct(s) do. It was a perfect slush. ---------------------------- UPDATE, June 20, 2022: I tried Sprite in it last night. That's probably been my favorite. It does get a bit more stiff than a machine-type slush when you get close to the end but, still, it was VERY refreshing! I wish sugar-free drinks would work because I don't often drink sugared soda but, hey, it is what it is. I still say BUY IT if you want a slush cup that works well!

I would give these fifteen stars if I could.
I have been wanting a cup like this for years. I bought one of these, and before it even arrived I realized I should have gotten extra for my mom. So I bought two more, and have just ordered two MORE. They slushify everything I’ve tried them with perfectly (okay, the egg nog did get quite thick and a little hard to stir-but still perfect!). I love to use them with juice -my calorie allowance is quite limited and “drinking” your calories feels like wasting them, but if you slushify the juice it takes awhile to eat and is very satisfying. I need so many of these cups because you do have to let them thaw completely between uses, but they work great and it’s worth it. Highly recommend!
