Deadly Broadhead
I've taken three deer with these broadheads using a crossbow, and none of them made it more than 50 yards. Two were adult flat-tops, one was a decent eight-pointer. The head is solid, shoots like a field-point and tears through a whitetail's chest like a missile. Both of the does didn't leave much of a blood trail, but both fell quickly. The buck bled hard; went only about 30 yards. The buck and one of the flat-tops died within a minute. These broadheads are pricy, but they're all-American and as deadly as sin. Personally, I prefer a broadhead - and a well placed shot - that drops a deer close. This one makes the grade.UPDATE: This broadhead also is listed on Amazon as: New Archery Products NAP Thunderhead Nitro 100 Grain Big Game Hunting Bow Crossbow Fixed Blade 3 Pieces Broadhead Set. If you're interested in reviewing more feedback - almost all of it positive - check this other listing.UPDATE2: Shot a big doe with this broadhead this morning. A double-lung shot, it piled up within 50 yards and left a good blood trail after about 10 yards.

A good four blade broadhead with very minor issues
A good broadhead with some minor issues. First of all these heads work well. The make quite the hole and there was no need to trail the blood cause he was done in 30 yards. My cons are just nitpicking but the loose blades ( not the cam lock blades) flop around a lot. They open when you put the arrow in your quiver and will be semi open when you put the arrow on your bow. I had to check the head every time I put it on. Would it affect the flight of the arrow.... idk but I didn’t want to find out. There also isn’t a practice head so you just have to trust it will fly straight as a field point. As seen in my picture, this was shot through a buck and into the ground. I’ve never had a NAP product get damaged like this before after a pass through. It’s bent at the shank and the tip is destroyed. Now, could it have hit a rock..... sure but I don’t have many of those. Will that stop me from using my last two, no.

Performance bar none.
I have had friends who swear my the NAP Spitfires, and NAP in general. I really like that design because there is no retaining o-ring, or anything that is a major PITA to put back in place after you have shot them. I had to come write a review after how this broadhead performed for me so far. Shot a decent sized doe at 25 yards or so with a high shoulder shot from elevated stand. Not only did they deploy perfectly, but they went through the shoulder, heart and severed the far side lung. I am confident I would have gotten a pass through if it wasn't for the shoulder. The deer ran for maybe 4 seconds before dropping 35 to 40 yards away within eye sight. Some of that is certainly shot placement, but these broadheads performed, going through the shoulder and taking out vitals. See the pic of the entry wound, had to take a picture of that as a I was quartering the deer because it was flawless. Best part is again no trying to push everything back and move some sort of o-ring around the razor sharp blades to prepare it to be shot again. As most mechanicals these flew just like practice points with no deviation or adjustment needed.Just for FYI: Was using Mathews Z7Extreme set at 65lbs or so.

Great broadhead!
Flies accurate... Good penetration... 2 shots, and 2 dead deer!!! The Buck in the pictures dressed out at 207 pounds. Although I hot all kinds of shoulder bone, it still almost passed through. I found the broadhead on the opposing side, with the tip sticking out. The second deer shot was a big doe. I severed the aorta, and it went through both lungs. Both the entrance, and exit wounds were huge. The blood trail was fantastic, and neither deer went far. I saw them both drop.

What do i know
Hi folks . I did a lot of hunting, fishing and bow fishing as a kid. But I have not for years. I bought to add to my survival stuff. I cannot give this a proper review. It's January in the Dakotas, It will be months before I can try it out. SO there are no reviews on this and I thought I would tell you what I could. Seems Well made, works as said, easy to turn prongs around, it is straight, slight taper which makes for good slip on the slide. OK as I said I can't give this a Proper review but I can see nothing wrong with it.

Great product.
Killed two deer with these first hunt. On dense woods I watched the second one fall and could see the first one before I made it to the second one. Both an absolute bloody mess. Stepson shot one the following morning. Same story. Shoots very true to field tips.
