It's slightly annoying....
It's slightly annoying when the blades break but its easy to use and effective. It also came with a lot of extras so thats great. This tool is also less shaky then an electric tool and is precise!

Not bad plenty of blades. Be sure to tension them!
The frame is good and sturdy, I kept breaking the blades every minute or so and complained here, but I never used this saw before and didnt realize the blade had to be under tension! If this is your first time with a jewelry saw please check out a video on how to install the blade. The teeth on the saw are super tiny so I suggest using your magnifier to aim the teeth. You've got plenty blades for a reason, these will break after a bit of usage. its the nature of the gauge I suppose.

Saw is fine, blades are *literally* useless with all but papersoft materials
Saw is great. You cannot cut soft pine with these terrible blades. If you're okay with using 2-3 blades (and that means unscrewing the things and re-attaching everything multiple times a cut) then this is a good nuff value. It's got enough blades to keep an occasional 1-2 cuts a year hobbyist in business for decades. If you actually want to enjoy cutting and do so on a regular basis, buy this and you'll have blades to last almost as long as it'll take the good blades you ordered from germany/japan to arrive. Which am I? Let's just say, I spent twice as much on a pack of blades from the swiss as I did on this saw...

A little clumsy to install blades
Excellent for fine hobby sawing. I have used coping saws, Dremel tools, hack saws all the way to large chain saws. Each has their niche and special skills required for use. This one requires getting tension on the blade, smooth, straight, light strokes and gentle handling but it makes a very narrow fine cut - just what I bought it for - in metal, plastic and other materials. The blades break easily, especially in my tool drawer, so I was very pleased so many blades were included.

Poor tolerances make using the saw frustrating.
I got this saw for cutting sheet silver. Once you get it set up it does work...for a while. The thumbscrews have a bad habit of walking out while cutting, so the saw blades will either pop out, or if the length adjusting screw gets loose, you will suddenly loose blade tension and it will snag or break. The rectangle block clamps that hold the blade ends are too small, so they spin in the frame when you tighten them. This means you need to hold the clamp with one hand and tighten with the other. This makes it more difficult to get the correct tension since you don't have a free hand to flex the frame when installing the blade.Overall, it is finicky to set up, and it doesn't hold its settings so you will be setting it up often. I wish I spent more on a better saw.

Absolute garbage saw frame
Save your money and buy a Dixon brand saw frame. These only look like a saw frame. The clamping surfaces do not grip the saw blade securely. There is nothing to hold the clamping surfaces in alignment. Tension cannot be maintained as the set screw of the frame does not hold. The metal is too soft and the screws deform or strip away. The frame is poorly mounted to the handle and will separate. Junk Cheap Useless Junk.
