Works and Fast with HP Envy 17
For all of the people that are replacing the old wireless card in their laptops for this faster card it's easy to get this new card up and running! I read the comments about the card not coming with drivers and having to search the web for them. It's not that hard at all! Just Google "Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)" Then install the Intel DSA software. Next will probably be the hardest part, after you have the new card installed in your laptop you need to connect your laptop via a network cable to the internet. Next open the Intel DSA software and run it. It will find the bluetooth and network drivers. Tell it to install them and enjoy! Super easy!

life saver
this part saved my laptop from me recycling it. I have a 10-year-old laptop that was starting to have connection issues to the internet. I looked up on YouTube just out of curiosity and found that the Wi-Fi card can be replaced on some laptops I opened up mine and found out that it was replicable. I bought this one because it looked like it was the right one from what I could see in the pictures and description. It works flawlessly giving my old laptop a new lease on life.

Great upgrade and easy to install and setup.
Works great. After I installed the Wi-Fi card and connected the existing antennas in my Toshiba Qosmio X870, I had to connect to my network with an ethernet cable to access the internet and do a Windows Update to find the new driver. After that you will have to select your WiFi connection name and enter your WiFi access password and then you should be off to the races. I bought this as an upgrade to my older Toshiba Qosmio X870 that only had 802.11n capability and could only get about 22Mbps down using Speedtest.net, which is much lower that what my network and internet connection is capable of. After the upgrade I was able to get 557Mbps. Well worth the money for the upgrade and to breath new life into this older laptop.

Great upgrade for an older laptop!
I put this in my aging Dell Latitude e6430 to see if I could modernize the Wifi. WOW! The WiFi is sooo much faster now! I wish I had upgraded the card sooner. When you install the card, only hook up the black and white antenna wires, tuck the gray wire somewhere out of the way. I didn’t have to install any drivers, just waited a few minutes for Windows to recognize the card.

Lenovo E420
I was skeptical of getting this card to work with my 2012 Thinkpad Edge. This budget laptop has 2.4GHz wifi, a Core i3, & eight gigs of RAM. It runs Windows 10. I knew about the whitelisting issue. I really didn't want to reflash my BIOS.I figured since it was going to require some effort I'd get the best card possible. This card is now working well and, yes, it took a fair amount of effort. I'm able to access a 5GHz paid access point in my neighborhood. Everything is working. I'm super-pleased.Sure enough, my laptop flagged this card and wouldn't start beyond its BIOS. I had downloaded a BIOS with whitelist removed (an older version than mine, too) hoping I wouldn't need it.After flashing things began to come together. It took some iterating with drivers and Windows updates to get everything right. Bluetooth was tricky but it seems to be working now. My mouse's scroll wheel stopped working for a while. I couldn't pair my cheap-o headphones for a long time. I did a lot of updating because I hadn't done so in a while. The neighborhood AP is much better than tethering to my phone.A few notes. CPU usage is higher than before, ≈25%, but that could be due to updates. Same with memory; I'm using four out of eight gigs of RAM while seemingly not doing anything. [update: RAM usage is now at ≈ 3% when idle.][update: I pulled my factory BT module (v3.0) from underneath the keyboard to ensure BT (v5.2) on the wifi card was being used. Opened device manager, "showed hidden devices" then uninstalled old 3.0 drivers and old bluetooth devices. 5.2 BT now works; no HW hacks other than removing that legacy module. New BT sees many more devices than before; sees neighbor's devices.]Bottom line: this worked out as well as I could have hoped.

A perfect match for an older laptop.
I replaced an older card with this card, after reloading an older Toshiba laptop with Windows 11 Pro. It required no drivers, and breathed new life into this laptop. I'm getting a healthy 525Mb/sec connection, you have to be realistic connecting to a heavily shared access point, and I'm very happy with the speeds I'm getting.

Avoid this device is not what it should be
Do not purchase this FAKE card. The card was tested under new full Windows 10 Pro 22H2 install with updates dated 1/4/2025 19045.5247 & Full fresh install of Windows 11 Pro 23H2 with correct updates dated 1/20/2024. Both operating systems would load default drivers for an Intel AC-7260. Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) reports the correct drivers installed as AC-7260. Removing all device drivers, turning off NIC, deleting from device manager and rebooting with device OFF to force the Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows 11*12/17/2024 to install results in device manager show "This device cannot start (Code 10)" after the NIC is reenabled. Windows 11 device manager show this device as PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_50708086&REV_CB (Intel AC-7260). On one side of the packaging it shows the device as supporing AC on the other AX.
