Perfect for making tea bags with loose leaf tea
I get a wonderful Earl Grey loose leaf tea from a shop in NYC. I put the tea in these bags so I can use my Keurig to make a cup of tea. Also handy for taking my favorite tea on trips. These are the perfect size for a heaping teaspoon of tea leaves which makes the perfect cup of tea. I also think the price is fair.

Good, would recommend
So many tea bags, so many reviews, eventually it gets confusing. These were not the tea bags I wanted, but they are the ones I ordered, as the bags I wanted are apparently no longer made. These bags are big (medium per their description), and have a bit of a gusset. I place about two teaspoons of tea into the bag, carefully tie the bag off, and drop it into my tea bottle. Don't twist the bag too much, it'll tear. So far I've had no exploded or ripped open tea bags, and they don't seem to impart any flavors of their own - nicely neutral. I drink a lot of tea. Everyday. Even so, 100 bags will last even me awhile. This is a good tea bag - and except for the way I tie them off - you won't be disappointed.

Great, easy to use product!
I've never used bags like this before and I find myself very pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a new stainless steel filter when I happened onto these. After reading reviews, decided to give these bags a try instead. These are perfect. The medium size is very easy to use, I don't taste or smell anything untoward from the bags, they are much more durable than I expected, and very easy to fill and use. The pictures in the ad show what looks like a black plastic holder to keep the bag open while filling. I find this totally unnecessary. The bags are pleated on the bottom, which, when you fully open, allows the bag to stand with the mouth open. I put the fully opened bag in a dry cup and fill with the tea I wish to use. Very easy, no struggle, no mess. I've attatched pics to help demonstrate. All in all these are great to have and use, and allow me to pre-fill and take some of my favorite teas with me to use on the go! Highly recommend!

What did I ever do without these....
I must start my review by saying that I bring a cup of tea to work every day in a travel mug. I always used to use tea bags from Twinings or Celestial Seasonings, etc., but about a year ago, I "discovered" loose tea. When I found out how much better I liked loose tea, I went on a buying rampage - - buying all sorts of different flavors. I soon realized that I would never use all my loose tea by having the occasional cup of tea at home where I had my tea filter. I needed to find a way to bring the loose tea to work. Along came these bags. They work wonderfully! I put a teaspoon of tea in the bag, fold over the top, twist the bag, and drop the bag into a cup of almost boiling water. No sticks, clips, or ironing needed. I have never had a weird taste from any of the bags, nor have I ever had a bag break on me or leak tea. I have now made substantial progress in using up my loose tea, so now I can experiment with new flavors!!! BTW, I agree with the reviewer who said to use the medium size bag over the small bag. It is just easier to use and get the tea into it.

highly recommend this genius product
I started drinking full leaf around 3 months ago before that I had been drinking pre-packaged tea bags for several years. When I first started to drink loose leaf tea I did what most people do, and bought a strainer metal filter. Metal filters were an excessive amount of work for a cup of tea it had to be washed meticulously (It's a ball infuser) and I couldn't even make chamomile tea(One of my staple infusions) because tea herbs would take twenty minutes just to clean up, plus when I brewed black tea several leaves escaped out of the ball and that simply annoyed me the strainer was of a high-quality brand called kusmi Paris which made me think that the problem was the brewing method itself and not the quality of the strainer . After the frustration of the ball infuser had made me go through for over a month of daily brewing I decided to pick an alternative. At first I considered a basket infuser or brewing tea from a small french press, but then all of a sudden I saw paper tea filters from the brand T-sac and heard incredibly good reviews on this method of brewing, but decided not to get that brand because they use plastic weaving in their bags and I always search for the most earth friendly and health friendly products. I happened to see these tea filters next and they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for free of plastic weaving, chlorine and true to the actual tea flavor . When they arrived I was a bit hesitant because of they don't have a drawstring or any other method of sealing. For a second I considered stapling the bag but decided to fold it first to see if it could hold up.I can tell you that this bag doesn't require of any stapling the bag holds the tea just fine if you make 2-3 small folds at the top. I've used really fine leaves and large herbal leaves and haven't had one single leaf fall out. The taste of the tea itself is better than when I used a ball infuser, and I will recommend this greatly to any loose leaf tea drinkers out there because its a way to have the best of both worlds bagged loose leaf tea.

Retain tea flavor. The best tea filter I've ever used!
After trying different brands of tea filters, Finum is so far my favorite. I use it everyday for loose herbal tea where fine powder is present, the filter keeps all the powder inside. What makes Finum tea filter stands out is that it keeps tea its true flavor while some other brands (perhaps the paper they used) diminish tea flavor. The large tall size is convenient, I don't have to fold the top several times and still have to pray that it doesn't open after a few brew; also works very well in a traveling thermo since the top (opening) can be folded over the lip of any cup. I would not use any other brand of tea filter anymore. My husband now uses it in the coffee machine, too!

Me encantan estos filtros, antes usaba los slim pero son más caros y estos los pongo bien en la taza y se quedan de pie y están geniales, para mi mucho mejores que los del tamaño slim

Excellent. Great size for a single cup. Had been using the next size up and found them more suitable for small pots.
