Lubegard 60902 Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant, 10 oz

This stuff stopped a hard shift into reverse instantly! I added this product to my Acura RDX transmission after draining the proper amount of ATF first. Once I added the bottle I was back to the correct level of fluid in the transmission, and the hard shift into reverse has gone away and not come back. It has been about a month and over 1000 miles with no issues. Great stuff!

I'm normally not a person who uses additives but when it comes to transmissions the fluid is very important for the operation of the clutch packs and torque converter. I recently installed a torque converter in a 4L80E and threw a bottle of this in and after a thousand miles you can tell the difference. The shifts are smoother and then torque converter lockup works well that's also because of a new torque converter. Almost all of these oils are nothing but a friction modifier and it does seem to help the transmission clutch packs shift better. This transmission has about 150,000 miles on it. I tow a camper as well and other than that it seems to shift fine and smoother. If your transmission has problems like slipping or shifting issues this isn't going to fix it. If you have a working transmission this will help make it work smoother.

Well, it seems better. I have a Mercury Milan with 180,000 miles. I did a siphon and fill at 107,000 several years ago which made my car shift like new. Now nearly 80,000 past that I recently started having shifting issues. I did another siphon and fill and it didn't make any difference. My fluid isn't great and looks fairly dirty, I probably need to do a 3rd siphon/fill. But after adding a bottle of this the sticky pump down shifting has stopped and it was banging into 2nd when idling through parking lots, that also seems to have stopped. So, whatever it does to free up sticky valve bodies. It seems to have done the trick. Going to keep an eye on it and possibly do another siphon/fill and add another bottle of lubeguard.

My 2017 F-150 started making the notorious "shudder" when cruising. It's got about 110k miles on it. The shudder just felt like a little section of rough pavement every now and then even on a newly paved, smooth road. My wife didn't even notice it. I siphoned out about 12 ounces of transmission fluid and added a tube of Lubegard 19610 Instant Shudder Fix AND a bottle of the Lubegard 60902 Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant. It's a real pain getting to the fill point and trying to get fluid in and out, but I was able with a makeshift tube and funnel. Within a couple miles of driving I noticed the shudder was gone. I'll schedule a fluid and filter change this next year but this was a fast $20 fix until then.

Added Lubegard to my 4LSlippy and 6LGrenadee as preventative maintenance. Helped smooth out shifts and gives peace of mind for long term transmission health. Would definitely use it again.

this along with the "Lubeguards Dr Tranny Automatic Transmission Instant Shudder Fixx" sorted out the torque shudder my car has been suffering from over the past 2 years. superb product cannot recommend it highly enough.
