Silver Lamp Rewire Kit

I had a matching set of lamps, one quit working. This repair kit saved the lamp and was easy to use. It was a great value as I didn't have to replace the pair of lamps.

I basically used the cord and socket,!but it was great to have all the parts. Pretty easy to connect wires to socket. Used a piece of hanger and taped to cord to help threading through lamp.

Used this for an old lamp that was still in good shape but had a worn out switch. Fairly easy to install, even without reading the instructions. Lighter weight parts but certainly solid enough to use. Nice to get some more life out of the lamp rather than tossing it out.

My wife bought a vintage lamp at a garage sale. Unfortunately, it stopped working shortly after purchasing and she was upset and ready to throw it out. Let me tell you, she LOVES this lamp. Being the good husband I am, I decided I would try to fix it myself. Bought this lamp kit and decided to give it a go with almost no experience or technical knowledge. Getting to work, I removed the old stem, socket, and wiring. This kit had everything I needed to replace the entire lamp internals. It ended up being a super easy project and more importantly saved my wife’s favorite lamp. Kit had quality parts and everything fit flawlessly. Color was as advertised. I would buy this kit in the future in a heartbeat if I had to repair another lamp in the future.

I was able to save my lamp due to this kit and some youtube videos. I think the instructions could be clearer (hence the youtube) but the wires come prestripped and the house hasnt burnt down yet. Really reasonably priced. Would 100% buy again!

This seems like good hardware, but mine came with an extra piece and also no directions. Super frustrating.

Easiest solution to a worn out table lamp. Top quality parts, pull up a you tube video and bam! New lamp!
