So Far So Good...
The handrail assembles easily and is extremely sturdy. It will NOT install as a LEVEL rail although when I asked about it I was told that it would. I had to make an added riser to the wooden base I was using for this temporary need. Still, the rail looks great and is strong. But do not sit or climb on it. The coating seems good and the rail itself is smooth yet does not feel slippery. If needed, there are some "traction" spray coatings that may work - clear and with a mild abrasive material mixed in. One light spray would suffice. I did not do this but that would be added peace of mind. I would not recommend this for a very heavy use-need and I definitely cannot speak to any Code or ADA specifications. For the need I have - just a handy rail for a little stability - this is perfect. Mine is lag-screwed onto the wooden base and the base just sits there. It is heavy, treated wood and very stable - for this need. I will update this if any issues develop with the coating and it's exposure to the rain, etc. This came with good instructions. Noter that for the lower cross-bar - you install the brackets OPPOSITE of one another - one up and one down. For the Top Rail - the two brackets go the SAME WAY. An EXCELLEN tool kit is included. It has a long MAGNETIC bit holder, a masonry drill bit, a regular drill bit and a nut driver. All seem to be of a decent metal construction.

Great with some lessons for others
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This fit the bill perfectly, looked good, included all the hardware including drill bits and it looked simple to assemble. I bought two one for each side of my stairs. It took me about 90 minutes to assemble both. Installed they look great and are sturdy. Lessons learned:The instruction manual shows the assembly steps but they are out order, almost right to left. Sequencing of the assembly is important since the cross pieces, the rail and cross bar positions depend on the anchored uprights to fit properly. If you are anchoring into concrete, use a hammer drill. Per YouTube I was lead to believe I could use my cordless drill using the provided concrete bit. If I had I'd still be drilling.

Let me save you learning a few installation tips the hard way....
I installed this on concrete; the lessons learned may as well apply to a wood install. First, it's very important to cool the drill bit after drilling each hole. Dunk it in a bucket of water or put under the hose for a few seconds. I still doubt the 1 included drill bit will successfully drill all 8 holes. I used 4 drill bits for this install. And the included anchors are metric 8s, so I had to buy 7 new 3/8 anchors to match the additional drill bits I needed to complete drilling the holes. Not expensive, just trying to save you a second trip to the hardware store.Next tip, do not mark and drill all 8 holes at the same time. Mark and drill them one at a time, installing the anchor and mounting the railing each time, then marking the next hole. There's very little "give" and I ended up abandoning a hole in order to get the other 3 anchors cinched down. Check the vertical level with each anchor install too. Unless your surface is absolutely flat, you'll want to adjust the tightness of the anchors' nuts to keep the vertical true.I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the metal and the strong rigidity when I completed the install.

Excellent quality, hardware BUT NO SELF DRILLING SCREWS like described.
I would have given 5 stars for sure if not for couple things. Firstly though the quality is superb, hardware awesome, very high-end. The problems come in with the UNCLEAR instructions. Like the directional stuff but that was easy enough to fix. What was the biggest problem was the 2ND RAIL BUSINESS. I had to TAPE IT both ends in order to work with it AT ALL. THEN, and kinda funny Now, but those little "self-drilling" screws? HA! NO, not only a big fat NOT self drilling, not even WITH A DRILL. What a joke! So, already having to tape 2nd rail ends, juuust left it lol These companies apparently still have no idea how BAD, Incompetent instructions are hurting their otherwise awesome products. Too bad, you are a 4. The star rating from 4 to 5 should indeed have 1-9 in between. That said, I'd give this company 4.2

Great Rail. Reasonable price.
Normally don’t give reviews but this was such a great product at a reasonable price that I thought it deserved a good review. Would love to have another one for the other side of the steps. Just can’t afford one right now. Very sturdy rail once installed. Good quality steel. Heavy duty. Instructions were a little confusing. For example, on the section labeled part 2, it says to continue to step 5 when attaching the rail to wood but there is no step 5 in the instructions. I got it figured out but not sure why there was a reference to “step 5”. Anyway if you need a rail, this might just be the ticket. 5 stars.

Solid product.
After taking a spill on the 2 wet wooden steps at my side door, I bought this item. I looked at all the options and am thrilled with my choice. Everything is super solid. I have a complete home workshop but really only needed my drill since the kit comes with everything you need. I definitely recommend. Note I paired this with black aluminum tread plate on steps. See picture. I only used the wood steps to anchor so I can’t speak to the concrete anchors but I did save them for possible future use on other projects.

A nice railing that does the job
It looks good and serves the purpose. My grandchildren use it and the center rail stops the little ones from falling out the side. It was easy to install and the directions were good. The top rail was a bit too long at the top to fit well on my inside garage steps, so it had to be cut. I was able to use a hacksaw to shorten it and its now a perfect fit.

Highly impressed with 2 step rails
Starting with the concrete anchors….super strong and more than powerful enough for these rails.Putting together was real easy (instructions were so-so).Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the self tapping screws used to hold middle runner and top runner on are very easy to strip out. Even with my drill at the lowest torque and hand tightening they still strip.
