If it isn't apparent from the photos, there are two parts provided with this, the 'F1' mounting plate and the 'F2' dovetail insert. Two different length pairs of mounting screws are provided also. The dovetail fit the rear sight slot of my M&P 22 perfectly. The mounting plate is contoured to match the cross-section profile of the top of the slide. This was also a close fit and the result is a pretty flush mounting to the slide with no exposed edges. I bought this to mount an ADE sight which hasn't arrived yet, but I'm happy with this mount and confident that it will be fine. I assume it will work with other full size M&P pistols also, but not with the Shield models.

Very easy to install...all the parts fit exactly and was installed on my S&W M&P 2.0 mm handgun.... I ordered this part to work with my Vortex venom red dot sight and would recommend it and would use another one on another gun if I get a second Vortex... great product and great price..

This was purchased for a full size M&P 9. The fitting of the dovetail was a little loose; but the plate fit into place well and with some loctite has remained solid. Getting the RD3-009 on the plate was fiddly; I was successful in the third attempt. After sighting, which was relatively easy, the mount and the have performed well.

Good quality, But I ordered the wrong size.

The dovetail part that goes into the slide cut in place of the rear sight fits very loose on my M&P. The top part of the mount does not contour the top of the slide very well either. I had a hell of a time trying to get it to sit straight after many attempts and finally just accepted a "that's as good as I can get it". The worst part for me is that I have a Vortex Venom on it and have to remove the sight to replace the battery and the screws that hold the sight on are the same screws that keep the mount tight in the slide. As soon as i loosen those, the whole mount will move again and I'm back at square 1. Next battery change I will be upgrading this mount or just having the slide cut done. On a good note, after about 300 rounds- it is holding zero and has not moved.

Use to mount to my SD9VE for the Holosun 407k. Had to drimmel off the front 2 studs in order for it to work, but it works great now! I obviously didn't buy it for it's original intended use.

I mounted this base on a SD9VE along with an ADE RD3-006b green dot sight. They worked perfectly together. The base fits very well and holds my sight tightly. After a couple hundred rounds everything is still tight and the sight is holding zero. I'd buy this again.
