HAW Annual: Political Parody Book of the Year!
S**G
For adults only...
If you are broad minded and like pompous politicians being made fun of this is for you. Based on "truelife" magazines, this has stories around politicians and other people in the public eye. The fake adverts make me want to buy the products. Like a much ruder version of Private Eye.

Hilarious book!
This is one of the most offensive books I’ve ever read and it’s great. My husband loves Nigel Farage and he hates it. Enough said.

Hilarious
This has only just arrived today, it's a present for my son. I have flicked through it and have to say I'm so impressed, it's so funny, well worth a purchase (you may not find it so funny if you're a Conservative)

You 'winsome' you lose some
The layout is inspired, absolutely superb. Even my 85 yr old mum thought I was reading one of those 'real life stories' magazines. Then she did the first of many double takes before enthusing "they've even taken the trouble to do real clues to the puzzles!" The effort that must have gone into the content smacks - sorry, nanny - of real journalism, too. It's very much written in that gushing pseudo first person (ghost written by journalists) style of 'send us your stories' magazines. Yes, a great deal is in appalling taste. But, you know what, it's still funny. More of it hits the target than misses - and even the misses are collateral comedic damage. We need a fairly off colour sense of humour to survive our politicians these days and HAW Annual provides light and laughter - not sure Tony Blair would agree ( his walk in bath was the first 'advert' which had me laughing out loud in surprise at the creators' sheer cheek). So much more - I kind of drew the line at the environmental tips, mostly because I like bees and trees so much, but the Etonian Mess of parodies, lampoons is a delight. Not for the faint hearted, admittedly.
