Second Try - Works Great Out of the Box.
I was exited to get labels on the items once I got this out of the box. Installed the batteries and all I get is constant "label jam" errors. I can't print anything. Tried all 3 cartridges. This machine is garbage. Beware before buying it DOES NOT WORK! Update: A replacement was sent by Amazon. I'm sending this damaged item back. It never worked. This new replacement worked right out of the box. I must have received a faulty device the first time around. Big thanks to amazon for replacing this quickly.

Temperature sensitive!
LOVE this label maker. It’s great for labeling things at room temperature. Labels in the freezer fall off. Labels in the heat (attic) will probably stay on but you might lose a few. I like the DYMO brand because it’s easy to find labels! 1 roll of labels last me a long time!! It also comes with a lot of symbols built into the software so you can add fun things to your labels. It’s the size of a graphing calculator just a little more heavy. Design is simple!

Good and useful
Easy to use, great for in the office or kitchen (we label our leftovers in the fridge with it and spare computer and appliance parts in our office. The only thing that would make it better is if the display was LED. LCD can be difficult to read in low light.

Useful and easy to use
I used a DYMO label maker at my previous job and now that I don't work there I decided to buy one for myself. Am I the only one who has to think hard about the burner diagrams on the stove? I guess I'm not visual, because the words FRONT LEFT and RIGHT REAR are way more helpful to me. So now I have those labels on my stove. I also put a label on the back of my iPhone (I have a clear case) and on my AirPods case saying IF FOUND PLEASE CALL [husband's phone number] I'm sure I'll find numerous other uses for this label maker. If I have more than one label I want to print, I save tape by typing out all the labels I want at the same time with a couple of spaces in between and printing them at once, then cutting them apart afterward. If you want a special character, like a hyphen for a phone number, it's a bit of a pain to find, but that's a minor inconvenience. I like that if you use a smaller font, you can print two (maybe 3? haven't tried) lines. The machine is pretty bulky and I wish it came with an adapter... 6 AAA's is a lot of batteries. I'll probably buy an adapter or get some rechargeable AAA's. But in general, pleased with this purchase.

8+ year lifetime; can plug in external power source
This is our 2nd unit, replacing the first one that we bought in 2017 which finally stopped working. We’ve never used batteries. Yes, this model DOES have DC input (9V 2A) if you want to get your own power supply. Given the cost of OEM labels these days, it’s more economical to buy this item that comes with 3 standard cartridges (black letters white bkgnd) rather than buy the standalone unit. As a plus, Amazon offered sameday delivery; it arrived only 2 1/2 hours after placing the order!

Great product!
I love this label maker. It's easy to use and prints great quality labels. The size is a bit bulky compared from the last label maker I had, but that isn't a deal breaker. It's easy to use and fits well in my hand. The price is definitely fitting for this label maker and is worth every penny. The only reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is there is no options to change the text style and that's a bit disappointing going from one label maker to another of the same brand and this one being a newer model. With that said, I still highly recommend this label maker!

Me ha gustado muchísimo la rapidez y lo bien que quedan las etiquetas así como lo fácil que es utilizarlo. Por contra y el motivo de que sólo lo puntúe con dos estrellas es que estaba usado. Venían dentro de la caja con trozos cortados de la cinta. La cinta venía puesta. Me lo he quedado por dos motivos: primero porque me urgía utilizarlo y el más importante es que funcionaba correctamente y no ha dado ningún problema en 40 etiquetas que he hecho hasta ahora. Garantía de un año, así que veremos que pasa porque le tengo que dar mucho trabajo...
