100% cotton shell + organic pillowcase

Pillow is very comfortable; not too soft or firm.

Snuggly soft with zero weird smell. I feel completely comfortable having my child sleep on this pillow. It's supportive but not so huge that her face gets lost in it if she sleeps on her tummy. From the moment I took it out of the package it had zero smell. I washed it before she used it because that's what moms do, lol, but it had zero chemical or odd smells coming from it when I took it out of the package. The outside of the pillow is a very soft, off white cotton. There's no need for a pillowcase. I just toss it in the wash every week or two (which is nice because there are nights where her diapers leak or she goes to bed grubby from playing outside). This would make a nice gift for little ones. It's always fun for them to have everyday objects just their size.

There's really not much difference between the two pillows as far as physical appearance. Even after using the kinder fluff pillow about a year, it's still as fluffy as the brand new pillow. My toddler loves them both. Nothing life changing about either pillow. As far as buying an organic pillow, this pillow only uses organic cotton on the shell, but the inside is still the typical chemical filling. It's still better than nothing, but also not super "crunchy" if that's your thing. We use pillow cases on our pillows, so the shell material isn't a huge selling or breaking point to me. Overall, they're both great pillow options for a toddler. Neither is physically superior to the other. Both are easily cleaned. Organic is better than non-organic material, so that's really the only difference to me.

I purchased this as a first pillow for my little one. I was looking for a smaller pillow that offered some support, but wasn’t so firm that the little one could use it as a step to climb out of the crib. I wanted something soft and cuddly, and this fit the bill. My L.O. has been using it nightly for some time now and really loves it. Sometimes cuddles it instead of sleeping on it, lol. I saw some people who said this had no pillow case. Mine came with a plain white pillow case - it’s got a little flap on the inside to tuck the pillow in. I bought another one from Little North Star as a spare. Both are soft, machine washable, and both L.O. and I love the fabric. The pillow is just big enough for a small child and I’d definitely recommend it for a starter pillow!

Washes easy, nice and soft! So far my toddler has just kind of looked at it and thrown it around, but I'm sure that he will soon learn to love pillows! LOL The size is nice, all I need to do is find a travel pillow cover for it and he'll be. good to go. It's well made, and I appreciate that it is from organic cotton! Anything that close to my child's skin for a long period of time, I really try to get organic fabric as much as possible. Also the fact its washable - HUGE PLUS. Thanks North Star! :)

My son will be 6 in December and I have been trying to find a pillow for him that is a good size and quality. Most small children's pillows are too small (toddler sized) and adult pillows are too big. He has been using either a travel pillow or a flattened adult pillow, neither of which were ideal. I saw this and decided to give it a try. It's PERFECT. It's soft and squishy without being too easily flattened, or too puffy. I love that it's organic, since it's next to his face while he sleeps, and even though it was packaged in plastic, there was no off smell, as sometimes happens with bedding that comes wrapped in plastic. I hope it holds up, because we are very pleased with this item! In the one picture, I put my hand in for scale. I am an average size woman, with hands on the smaller size.

Tired of being lied too I feel like Amazon should be sued for allowing so much of these merchants to straight up lie to their consumers. This is not made of cotton, only the outside of it is. You guys need to be straight forward about what your product is, I'm tired of the amount of time I have to try and put into finding out what things are made of. I literally could not find a single thing on this page that led me to believe this was anything other than 100% cotton material. Organic at that, which I thought was great. I'm not returning it, I just really didn't want polyester I'd take bamboo, cotton, w/e else. What in the world is an organic cotton cover doing over a plastic filling anyways? We worry about microplastics and yet we can't even get amazon to label this stuff correctly. I'm tired of it all man. "100% Cotton" How can you even get away with saying that? Seems like sue-able levels of corruption
