This reptile feeding column is pretty good as it happens ... it allows your reptiles to do a bit of hunting for their food.Although this feeder is advertised for chameleons it can actually be used for most types of lizard. My son has a pair of bearded dragons and it's perfect for them.This feeder can be either hung from a hook or stood on the floor of your reptile's terrarium. Either way it works really well as long as your lizard can reach it.This is a good sized item with the bowl measuring 14.98 cm wide x 6.6 cm deep and the column measuring 20 cm in height. The chain is sturdy and strong and measures 62 cm in length.The idea is that you fill the feeder with your choice of insects and as they climb up the mesh column your reptiles see them and catch them. This makes your (especially inactive) lizards actually work for their food. You can also dust your insects with products like calci dust while they are still in the feeding bowl at the bottom and before they climb up the mesh.This reptile feeding column is well made from good quality materials, it is robust enough to stand firmly without being knocked over by a roaming lizard.IThe price of £28.99 (price correct at the time of this review \ seems about right for this feeder and I'm happy to recommend it.Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review helpful.

Neptonion Hookable Chameleon Feeding Bowl Bugs Bar with Column for Prey to Climb and Move, Suitable for Lizard, Bearded Dragon, Iguana, Gecko, Toad, Frog.This came well presented in its own box.This is better than I expected and our bearded dragon seems to like the idea of it.This feeder bowl comes with a vertical mesh for the insects to climb, there's also a hanging chain that's made of iron.It's easy to add food to it too, there's some illuminous tweezers included.This is of a good design and the bearded dragon knows exactly what it's for, his food source!I can reccomend this, it's a good idea and if I'd known that something like this existed I would of bought one ages ago.It's of a good durable sturdy quality.Price is average I believe!

I bought this not really thinking with regards to the actual weight of it - which is really heavy as it’s super well made but due to the size of my baby chameleon I was afraid it might fall and crush him . When he’s bigger I’ll use it

We got this for our chameleon. It seems advertised primarily for chameleons on the listing, but based on the images on the box (e.g. that of a bearded dragon) it'll be useful for many other reptiles too.It's a really interesting product, because to look at it you wouldn't think it would work. However, for whatever reason the bugs all climb the mesh and hang around on it; not bothering to try and escape. This makes them easy prey for our cham.We decided to use the hook to hang it up as our chameleon spends much of his time in the top middle of his home. However, you can place it on the floor so that the bowl serves as a base. We've tested this and it's very stable and difficult to knock over, so even larger reptiles shouldn't be able to.We've only had this a few days, but already see the difference in the quantity and speed our chameleon is eating. So, I'd especially recommend this to anyone who has a chameleon who is to lazy to track his/her food!

This is a good sized feeder made of lightweight yet sturdy materials. It has a convenient hook to hang which can support the weight well. It is quite deep at the edges but despite this is still not suitable for all live foods as it is too easy for them to escape.I hope you find this review helpful.

Got this for our Gecko and he loves it so far. Set it up put crickets and mealworms in and he was over them in seconds. He's usually a fussy eater and this is doing a great job so far. If he's happy then so am IEasy to use and put in the tank. Works a treat. Keeps the crickets etc active and moving till he munches them.Got to give it top marks as it's well deserved. It gets 5-5. Quality item. I can see why the price is what it is. I would buy again if I need another. Recommended.

No more loose bugs!!Nice and heavy, our water dragon can't just knock it over like he does normally. Roaches and worms can't climb out of the bowl, only up so perfect for our viv

Keeps the dubias in perfectly amd good for non jumping insects.. it doesn't do a thing against locusts and hoppers. They escape no problems and simply just climb out.Inside edges need to be a little higher and smoother.I love the product though. Great idea and a great hanging feeder for the chameleon.
