Great product for male dog urinary incontinence
My 15 year old German Wirehaired Pointer started having some urinary incontinence while he slept, and we would wake in the morning to puddles underneath him. These belly bands have really improved both is and our quality of life as we are not changing bedding every day and he stays dry and happy. The features that I like about these belly bands (and I have another two brands for comparison) is that they are nice and thick, so any urine that leaks out is captured and drawn away from his body. The outer shell keeps the moisture in, but is still decent to touch. The band has a good amount of velcro and elastic so it stays in place and is only removable by us (though Gus doesn't mind wearing it). Some of the other nice features include the patter--you would be surprised how easily the solid colored ones can disappear among all of the other laundry, but these patters stand out. The interior of the band is black in color, so you don't see urine stains. Also, the interior is all sewn together (unlike other brands), so there are no loose areas that are prone to unravelling in the wash. My only suggestion for washing and drying is to wash it while it is secured with the veclro and turned inside out. This allows for more effective drying.

Absorbent and Substantial
I adopted a dog who was approximately two and had just been neutered. The instinct to mark was very strong in him, and I think it is partly due to the late neutering of him. We love this sweet, crazy dog but do not appreciate it when he feels the need to mark the house, especially if we have another dog over. He loves to play with the other dogs, but feels an overwhelming need to make sure they know this is his territory. In comes the doggy diapers, which by boys and I call Boy Bands, hahaha. They do a great job absorbing any liquid he feels the need to squirt. It has saved me from having to search for the spots he has marked based on smell alone...it is nearly impossible to find the spot on our grey carpet without getting on your hands and knees and looking like a crazy person sniffing around a room. It gives us more confidence to allow him to roam the house when we leave, knowing he won't make a mess if he decides to mark or pee out of anxiety. They are super easy to wash. I just pop them in the washer and then allow them to air dry. I air dry anything that is supposed to absorb liquid regardless of the care instructions because I feel it increases the longevity of the product. My only critique would be the sizing, and it is not the fault of the product, it is our issue because our dog is overweight. The diapers are made to fit dogs that are of average weight. Because my dog is overweight (due to steroids that made him balloon up, and not in the good body-builder way), we had to order up. The larger sizes are wider, and because my dog is fairly short from head to tail, they are a bit large on him. We don't use them all day, every day, so they are comfortable enough when he is in them, but I will be sizing down once he returns to his pre-sterioid weight, to make him more comfortable. Since so many American dogs are overweight, it would be nice to have an option of an extension so overweight dogs can have narrower bands. My kids think they are hilarious, so that's a bonus.

More absorbent than name brands and vet brands
I have 2 male and 1 female dogs. There’s the 14 year old silky terrier and two 15 year old mini breeds. Needless to say at their age accidents will and do happen. The older two (males) are diagnosed with incontinence and my silky just can’t make it out the door on time. My vet suggested I purchase dog bands to help them and me, them because they feel so bad when ‘it’ happens, me because I can’t walk behind them 24/7 to clean up. I bought a few from the vet and then found some cheaper at pet stores. Trust me, what I paid at those places was over half of what I paid for this brand. The brand names never fit right, leaked and drooped down their little legs. My friend told me about this brand and I thought, why not? Wow, am I impressed. The material is so soft almost like a silk nylon, the elastic legs have a good stretch but these stay in place with no droops, the velcro closure is much better than snaps, they are secure enough that I have to pull hard sometimes to break it apart, and bottom line is they are so cute. We pet lovers know when our pets feel good about themselves. Well, mine actually would not sit down the first time wearing because they were ‘modeling.’ I toss them in the washer (hot) and hang dry. They didn’t shrink, bleed or stretch out. I think these will last a while. No more vet or brand name bands for my 4-legged kids!

Well Made & Stylish
Price is right plus the plush thickness and definite easy to clean fabric was impressive. Could also throw in a thin disposable pad and toss after use to avoid washing. Either way is fine. The design and colors are impressive. Definite eye catcher at my dog’s training class where the instructor and other dog parents made nice comments and were obviously impressed. On our way out others in the store made comments too. Brought smiles to their faces as we passed because i think they didn’t expect to see something so stylish. So different to anything you can find in the stores.I would definitely recommend this brand. It’s very well made, inside very soft and plush, dog was comfortable and styles fit for a designer dog:)
