Bought these as an experiment and found they are excellent for clamping reglued soundboard braces in acoustic guitars. Helps to glue some cork, or use plastic caps from other clamps, to distribute the interior force and protect the guitar top. Way better than screw posts, and you can get at least two in thru the soundhole if you are careful.

I paired this with the portale pocket hole jig and works great. Feels solid and very well made.

These clamps work as advertised. They feel solid. Adjust them based on the thickness of the objects (wood in my case). If all objects to be clamped are the same thickness you only need to adjust the clamp strength once. Only issue, make sure you have some lube for the swivel pads. The swivel pads were stuck in place when they arrived. I picked up two with a pocket jig.

I was blown away by this product. Cheap vice grips they are not. There have been no corners cut, the adjustment mechanism is precise and when attached there is no give. The depth and strength provide a whole new way to grasp projects that otherwise would have take a jig or considerable planning. I could not be more pleased.
