I use these in my 1986 4Runner. I didn't want to install an aftermarket console cup holder since it's all original. These are great since they can be removed or folded at any time. Light weight and sturdy. The metal arms come straight and you bend them to the shape of your door. That gives them a custom fit that works very well. They also have felt on the window slot portion so they don't interfere with the window track at all. Highly recommended.

My car does not have cupholders, so I was so excited when I received this product. It worked fantastic for about four weeks. After that the plastic cup holder started to slip off of the metal binding. It may be from the shape of my door. Hopefully it works great for other people. I love the idea of this product. It just didn’t work out very well for me.

The long latch doesn’t even click onto the bottom where I can successfully hook it on to put both pieces together??? The open part doesn’t even stretch as long as the plastic line sticking out that it’s supposed to hook onto! How does anyone have this working when it isn’t even sized to click together?? I literally put it together the best I could and held it together with tape so it wouldn’t just slip apart. Than I came out to my car today to find my mug of coffee it had been holding spilled all over my seats and floor just because you can’t make a product that can actually successfully and easily click together. I’m done with trying to make this work. I desperately wanted working cup holders so I didn’t have any more spills in my car and now you literally caused a giant one for me just because you can’t make cup holders that actually work. They have 1 job. Hold the drink. And you are too cheap to even make it do that much. I was okay with it being cheap but not working at all is just ridiculous. I am returning these immediately for a refund. P.s. would have added a pic to show y’all what I’m talking about but it won’t even let me do that much. Just says “hmm that didn’t work. Tap to retry.” No matter what picture I try to post.

So yes this is a bit flimsy and requires some adjustments to make it not only 'click' together but also fit correctly over your window, dash, console etc.Tip 1 - bend metal mounting arm BEFORE you attach it to the plastic cup holder. Position the mount arm where and how it will ride and find the bend point (where you will bend it to conform to the rounded surface. Then, use plyers to grip and bend the arm at that point to ensure a snug fit over whatever rounded surface it will mount over.Tip 2 - Securing cup holder to the metal mounting arm : insert mount arm through the slot and position the square cutout around the plastic square on the holder. Then, on a flat surface, use needle nose plyers to press down on the metal arm on either side of the square opening. While pressing down use a finger(or, ahem, a partners finger ;-)) to slide the metal arm up so the plastic square, protruding out of the opening, is now secured in the small slot.Pro tip 2a - squeeze a bit of super glue around the plastic square to ensure a super bump doesn't undo your handiwork years down the road

I have a 60's classic car that has no cupholders. After trying several other unsatisfactory solutions, my wife stumbled upon these. They work surprisingly well and don't take a lot of room. I was able to paint ours to match the interior color, so they are barely noticeable. Now we can have drinks when we take the car on road trips.

I like it puts extra cup holders in it car

Its very flimsy and a beverage can easily fall out of the front separated section.

This product is great except for the way it hooks to the window. I can't get it to fit tightly. I like the way it folds up out of the way. I use this as an ashtray holder and my coffee cup.

The product does not work as advertised and is very expensive for what is given. I bought two and one was not working at all. I requested to return it, and was only offered half of the price back. I do not recommend anyone buy this product.
