Q: Has anyone bought for a child age 10?

I bought it for my adult daughter size 12/14 and it was very generous on her. I would say it would be far too big for a 10 year old.

Q: My wife’s in early pregnancy - would this be a good purchase for her and is there room for a growing belly? Thanks

There is plenty of room in this large one size blanket hoodie. However, your wife might often feel warm in pregnancy but I’m sure she would be grateful to have one of these.

Q: Would this fit someone who is XXL?

It would probably fit but would be more like a normal hoody. My 14 year old son is who I bought it for.

Q: is this double sided or double layers?

Not double layer. But very big and warm.
