Our iPhones needed a new battery so I ordered these and had a professional install them. My son replaced his in February and it is suddenly swelling, so much so he will now need a new phone. Perhaps he got a bad battery.Mine was replaced 3 weeks ago, so time will tell...

Misleading battery capacity
Battery is extended but has capacity that is lower than claimed. On the packaging and on the battery it claims to be 4100 mAh but in reality (as you can see in the picture) the battery is only 3380 mAh. However, this is still larger than the original battery which was somewhere around 2700 mAh. But I think this still counts as misleading and the listing should reflect what we are actually getting.Tools were fine but instead of the finger ring stand a set of screen adhesive would have been better. Without that the screen doesn’t sit properly and isn’t water tight. Would recommend buying that separately.Still have to see how it holds up after a few months.

Takes a little time and patience, but works great!
It took probably around an hour to install the battery. Battery life is better than it was day one, only downside is the phone is probably not as waterproof as it was. That’s not really an issue with this kid as much as it is how the phone seals.

Deceiving title, not actually 4100
Installed the battery in my iPhone 8 Plus and works fine. The battery life is definitely not as advertised though. When I read the battery life on apps and softwares it reads that it's 2691, not the advertised 4100 that they claim. The battery doesn't last longer than a standard battery either. If you find cheaper batteries that are rated for 2691 capacity, just buy those. This battery isn't truly 4100.
