I was a little skeptical being that there’s a lot of different scanners to choose from and all of them claim to be “THE ONE” But this one works perfectly right out the box. Simple to understand and use!! Great product!!

Excellent quality device and connectors. Interface is very useful friendly and responsive touch screen. Unfortunately, the speed limiter adjustment will not work on the Prevost motorcoach that I bought this device for. However, it'll still read the diagnostic codes, so it wasn't a total loss. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the unit, just a little bummed about the speed limiter compatibility

HD500, 2025 production. Agree with the other 5 star reviewers. I use it for my 43ft 2018 winnebago horizon motorhome maintenance and monitoring. We're on the road a lot, so I consider this unit a necessity. I have access to the Cummins engine, Freightliner chassis, Allison transmission and PDF codes. It doesn't provide a detailed explanation of the code but you can select it and will connect to search the code on the internet. Used it most recently to force a parked regeneration of the PDF. I received a stop engine dash alarm due to a clogged exhaust filter. The PDF will routinely regenerate themselves when traveling at highway speeds. When traveling on steep grades under 45mph, the filter will clog much more quickly. After the parked regeneration I was able to clear the fault and be on my way. Drama avoided... Couple other noteworthy items: 1. When you first receive the unit, fully charge the battery, complete the registration and download all the updates for free. You need wifi or phone as a Hotspot. Took me about an hour. 2. They use an android 9 platform. Has a similar settings feel as a smartphone. It's bit outdated since my phone uses android 15 with more advanced security features and it's a year old. 3. The internal storage is only 32 GB. After all the apps are updated, It used 69% of its capacity. However, you can sync it to your email or to your cloud storage like you would do with files on your phone. 4. Although it has a large and comfortable housing, I would suggest treating it like your phone. I can see a cracked screen in the future if not careful. Overall, I consider it a good value for the money.

Was super excited for this Foxwell HD just to be disappointed in the end. It didn’t even last 3 months before it completely froze & stop working! It does not do speed settings for PACCOR motors and does not work well with Cat units. If you need technical support you have to call China!! But call at midnight because they are asleep during our day! Wish I would of bought the warranty!

Works great

I work at a construction co not a repair shop. I bought this unit in February of 2025 to use in the field or as a quick method of scanning and doing def / scr regen. I have tried to use it on many (more than 10) 2020+ Freightliner and 2017 + Mack trucks with no success. Every time it has said could not communicate with ECM after reading codes. Several times but not every time the scanner caused the vehicle to show an additional electronic communication error on the vehicle which could only be fix by attaching and fixing with our shop scanner. The 2 John deere equipment I tried it on were not cooperative with the scanner either but it is hard to say if it was JD programming. Needless to say I am very unimpressed and annoyed at the amount of money that I spent. I will say the compact size and android operating system (I prefer android over windows) are good things about it. Otherwise it's an expensive code reader with lots of connectors. EDIT 5-10-25: After leaving this review customer care reached out to me to assist in any way possible to improve customer satisfaction. They did not ask me to change my review, I am doing this in fairness to them. While I will say my experience with the HD500 has not changed in the few days of the initial post, customer service is excellent and quite honestly better than many other companies and that is the only reason I am bumping from 2 stars to 3. I have not tried any of their other products and cannot speak on them.
